  • what do i do about property damage caused by the quakes?

  • check out arkansas. earthquakes numerous times every day. and they know it is fracking. the industry really needs to get it's story straight. earthquakes up 1500% in arkansas since fracking began.

  • Before you crack a well you run your casing and cement it. Then you do what's called perforate the casing, which is you use explosive charges to make holes in the pipe. Guess what dipshit, its going to show on seismic reports. No earthquake just alittle boom. As far as the disposal well goes, there could be some truth to a quake. Formations can handle only so much injected fluids. Especially if they're trying to force it down with pumps. Out west they have for years injected steam to get oil out

  • First of all the wastwater is brine water it is being pumped right back into the saltwater table. There are records of earthquakes in Youngstown Ohio long before there was any fracking had taken place.

  • You guys are posterkids for legal abortion

  • @Wildcatter66 Really, here is a challenge-- search "dutchsinse fracking earthquake" here on youtube, and tell me numerous earthquake epicenters (as reported by USGS) are NOT located directly under fracking sites.

    Godwin's law motherfucker :D

  • You guys are posterkids for legal abortion

  • So you have a few minor earthquakes , a few bumps in the night . Well no ones hurt are they , there's really nothing to worry about , its as safe as , well , the US banks where all our profits go to make more profits and more .

  • Um they don't pump the ground with water, they fill it with a toxic mix of chemicals that melt rock releasing the gases.... it's like injecting poison into Gaia's veins.

  • @foresakenlion No that water goes to a treatment plant the water they pump back in is brine water it goes back into the same water table it came from.

  • frakking causes earthquakes in my bed. huh huh huh.

  • Anybody see the documentary called Gasland? Check it out. It talks about fracking and it's dangers.

  • Mike Ray 2016!

  • I thought it was Battle Star Galactica causing it...

    "Fraking"

  • @Yogsoggeth

1:46 "The amount of Fracking waste.."

  • i would be more scared of the pollutants infesting your water table.

You know the one part of the deal that never gets any money from the sale and use of public land is the people.

Stop making us pay for you to profit.

  • Ron Paul for industry and corporate deregulation! Freedom for Frackers! Let the privately owned corporations police themselves.

  • @PsychedelicRoadshow Sure. And to be fair, let's allow the people to be the judge, jury and executioners of the corporate decision makers who make communities unlivable by poisoning the water supply, the air, and everything else. I'm all for deregulating corporations in exchange for unleashing rampaging mobs when the corporations disregard public health and safety.

  • @PsychedelicRoadshow I love earthquakes and flammable tap water!

  • Merikah!

    Home of The Derp.

  • It's the Zionists and the Rockefeller's tectonic plate shifting ray gun, AGAIN.

  • Devacqua you die mother fuckin' douche bag!

  • Yeah, it certainly fucks their water, so I wouldn't be surprised.

  • I am in Oklahoma and the same problem has been here and in Arkansas. They made them stop drilling in Arkansas and the quakes stopped. Still having quakes here on a daily basis and they are still drilling.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if that's the truth, to be honest.

  • the hilarious part is we don't even need so much oil and gas

  • @MrROTD lol I agree but I'm not sure how "hilarious" it is.

  • can anyone tell me succinctly and EXACTLY what's in fracking fluid?

  • @apagoogoo

Noone knows, its secret, one component is quartz sand, to keep fine cracks that formed open forever, and water, and then a bunch of chemicals and lubricants that are kept secret. But the stuff appears to be highly toxic, maybe they are just using liquid chemical wastes from the chemical industry that arguably have some lubricating / corrosive effect or whatever, that the chemical industry would otherwise need to get rid of in very expensive ways. Only they know.

  • upside: highly flammable tap water = cool!

    downside: property values = $0.

  • im studying this in school. Its really scary

  • Hopefully something is done about it but that doesn't seem likely.

  • Fuckin' up the ground water too.

  • All evidence suggests that fracking is causing these quakes.

  • How much do the greedy bastards need ? It cant come out of the wells fast enought so they start attacking the planet. When do the monsters stop ?

  • @lastpatriot4America They won't be around much longer.......

  • hippies

  • @killpath

    hippies are for sex. LOL
