please don't use a belt sander for sharpening a knife... the heat generated by the friction pulls the temper right out of the blade. Nothing can replace a stone. Just learn how to properly use one. Your video seems really random, you should split them up into separate subjects.
alot of profetional knife sharpeners sharpen on a belt sander as well, its just known to do shirt bursts and to dunk in water to keep the steel cool...

First, I wouldnt buy anything from Harbor Freight. They have the worst products. I bent a pair of vise grips with my bare hands, actually with one hand. I also had a band saw with a motor that smoked the first day. Second, I will never buy anything from The Blade Shop ever again. HORRIBLE customer service and HORRIBLE communication. Very hard to get my money back.

@Zigosity The Canadians I know are great people, Zig, but what you say isn't true. The Canadian central bank (I forget what it's called) uses the dollar as it's reserve currency. That means that the value of Canadian dollars is guaranteed by the Canadian central bank's ownership of American dollars. If that doesn't scare you, it should. The US Dollar is a mess, is collapsing, and will drag down a lot of other currencies.

on that bury thing, Home Depot has 4" PVC pipe and end caps. just glue the end caps on them after you fill it with your favorite stuff and forget it. then, when you dig it up, just saw the end cap off. :) safe for century's and waterproof
the absolute best thing to bury your stuff in is a old .50cal ammo box the ones with the rubber gasket on the inside of the lid
this makes it water and air tight you can bury your silver,gold,,knives, guns, ammo of course or whatever fits inside

You say you'll put your silver in bags and in something, I haven't done it personally but I think a large pvc pipe with the ends sealed with glue and pvc caps would be a great way to bury your stuff.

You said you have about $1000 worth of silver coins /and or bullion. At todays price of $16+ that would only be about 60 ounces total silver. Hardly worth the effort to bury somewhere. I wear "bling"...Mostly when it's warmer out. That way I don't have jackets to cover everything up. I wanted to be a custom jewler and make my own designs. But that's so hard to get into these days. I like to look good when I got out.

Also before you bury it don't just stick the shovel into the ground cut the lawn into a square and you should be able to remove a patch and replace it after you dig the hole and fill it. It will look almost untouched or at least more normal than just a mound of dirt or bare spot on the ground.
My grandfather buried a couple jars filled with brand new looking .999 silver coins, the year that he got sick before he passed away he had me and the other kids dig them up and distributed them between his kids and his grand kids. So burying your precious metals is definitely a good idea, he used simple canning jars which are air tight and small enough to bury pretty much anywhere.

They already changed US currency. They changed how the 20 dollar bill looks. You have to remember that our government is our friend and works in our interest. And I think cutlery is pulling your leg, he isn't going to bury his stash. He would have to go dig it up every time he does a new video to compare different rounds and such. on that bury thing, Home Depot has 4" PVC pipe and end caps. just glue the end caps on them after you fill it with your favorite stuff and forget it. then, when you dig it up, just saw the end cap off. :) safe for century's and waterproof

the absolute best thing to bury your stuff in is a old .50cal ammo box the ones with the rubber gasket on the inside of the lid
this makes it water and air tight you can bury your silver,gold,,knives, guns, ammo of course or whatever fits inside
then just bury it (if you have a hand held GPS then tag the spot then you don't have to put it next to some thing big ) this works grate i do it already to keep some emergency gold safe and i can always find it easy and only i know where

You say you'll put your silver in bags and in something, I haven't done it personally but I think a large pvc pipe with the ends sealed with glue and pvc caps would be a great way to bury your stuff.

No ones' gold was ever confiscated. It was required that you had to provide a form to the government indicating how much gold you had and you could retain possession. Gold miners could only sell their gold to the government and no gold was available for sale to the public til 1974. No one filed any forms nor had any gold confiscated and the wealthy , whohad gold, shipped it to Europe for storage. Confiscation is just another myth like so many other misunderstood topics.

You said you have about $1000 worth of silver coins /and or bullion. At todays price of $16+ that would only be about 60 ounces total silver. Hardly worth the effort to bury somewhere. Besides if something happened to you, without informing anyone where "X" marks the spot, that silver would be lost to your family foreever. You seem like a very practical guy but burying your silver is a poor option. Incidentally, gold confiscation fromthe 1930's is much overhyped and misunderstood.

For me nothing. I've already done that, but you'd be surprised what people can't fathom doing without having seen it or been instructed. Can you change a car battery? Pretty simple, right? Well, guess how many couldn't even get started? Maybe most of your viewers couldn't care less and don't need such a video, but I suspect that there are many who do. In addition, you can include ways to hide things (i.e. metal on top) & pointers for how to pick a memorable spot (i.e. unchanging landmarks).

if i was going to bury something like that i think i would use pvc pipe with a treaded cap on one end so it wuld be easy to open later down the rd if needed also if you wanted i would think you could put in oxygen absorbers and mositor absobers if the item was senstive to that kind of stuff and if someone did find it on a piece of land w/ a home they may not think and assune it is a cleanout 4 a drain or something else

If you want to bury it, you should throw them in ammo containers, they are water tight and it will help keep them together.

Also before you bury it don't just stick the shovel into the ground cut the lawn into a square and you should be able to remove a patch and replace it after you dig the hole and fill it. It will look almost untouched or at least more normal than just a mound of dirt or bare spot on the ground.

My grandfather buried a couple jars filled with brand new looking .999 silver coins, the year that he got sick before he passed away he had me and the other kids dig them up and distributed them between his kids and his grand kids. So burying your precious metals is definitely a good idea, he used simple canning jars which are air tight and small enough to bury pretty much anywhere.
