what is my oboe model ?il has 4 metal keys for the left little finger...( 5 on most oboes fotos). 3 keys for the right little finger..right hands rings looks like clarinet- left keys look like oboe.. it has a octave key -can i play a 3rd space C with a flute fingering?
Actually, it IS "le hautbois" ==> quote from Wiki :"Terme générique, LE hautbois est un instrument de musique à vent de la famille des bois, de perce conique et dont le son est créé par la vibration d'une anche double au passage du souffle."
@fappyyplox Completely aware of that but didn't want to spend lots of time searching the proof that I speak my native language properly. But I finally took a look at the Larousse Encyclopedia and am still right on this question.
I wasn't saying you were wrong, I was just pointing out that telling other people your source is wikipedia in an argument is kind of shooting yourself in the foot.
I don't know where I found it anymore but I still have it on my computer and if you leave me your e-mail address (with a private message) I can send it to you !

@clarinette09 It is indeed "le hautbois", as it is "le haricot", "le hérisson", "le héros". Just has to do with the h.
