Growing up, I had a big crush on Dave Allen. I used to watch him on WOR-TV, New York. That channel was in our cable package when we lived in Canton, Ohio. We watched him, Benny Hill, and Paul Hogan's show.

I haven't seen Dave Allen for years but it never gets old. He still has me laughing till I cry. I was only a kid when he was on the TV but we always watched his shows, along with Dick Emery and Benny Hill. All the truly great comedians, sadly now passed on. Humour isn't what it used to be somehow. Very few comedians today can make me laugh the way they used to.
