It was a good episode, but it would've got high ratings without killing her off. Everyone was waiting for the night she found out, the drama with conflict against her dad, Ronnie being mum to a now grown up daughter and make for how she treated her earlier, the complexity of Danielle being torn between her adopted dad and biological mum.

They put us through all that waiting just to kill her off and will lose rather than sustain the audience. Today's episode was so boring .

Eastenders can't think of any other way to capture an audience than affairs and killing off innocent young people before their time. Quitting watching this programme after the funeral episode as that death was too unnessecary an attempt to get high ratings. Always taking the easy way out with just killing people all the time. It ruined a fantastic episode and squandered so many opportunities of a fantastic plot.
