  • LOL Dont expect toyota to honor any warrantys, they love to blame the customer for everything!

  • @NOTy0urPUPPET that's Ford more than anything. You fart in the truck they will remove your warranty lol

  • It is warranted through Toyota with either 12 month or 12,000 miles or if installed by a Toyota dealer the remainder of your 3/36. I have the extended warranty and it is covered under that till 100,000 miles or 5 years.

  • Toyota will not sale you a tundra off of the lot with the TRD supercharger on it. You have to buy the truck and then have it installed. I don't know if it is a liability issue or what. Once you have signed the papers you can drive it around back and have it done.

  • @zeeya2002 they will do it off the lot. its not a matter of liability over footing the bill in hopes someone will buy. then if no one buys it discounting it to move it off the lot.

  • so tundras comes with supercharger from factory?

  • Well I can see everyone has their opinions. I only know what I am experiencing. I did not think it would get better gas mileage. I have been checking it and keep up with it on fuelly. The only thing the mastertech at the dealership told me in reference to it was that the engine ran more eficiently and did not require as much strain on the engine. Now with that said, I am not a mechanic or pro tuner. I just get decent mileage and enjoy the 504hp at the crank. Just saying,

  • those who are worried about gas mpg shouldnt get a truck.

  • Put that shit on sport and take it off drive!! then it'll accelerate!

  • Gas mileage is actually better after the install of the S/C as long as you keep your foot out of it, which is hard to do.

  • You're wrong, superchargers only cause load on an engine, there for more fuel. And for when you're lightly cruising around, you're still causing load, and or boosting the motor. More air flow via the supercharger means more fuel therefor worse fuel economy. Turbo's on the other hand are a different story. But there is no vechical ever made that gets more MPG with a supercharger than without. Turbo's yes, superchargers no. @zeeya2002

  • @FunWheelDriveDSM well i guess you havent driven a tundra then because they get BETTER fuel mileage with the supercharger.

  • @FunWheelDriveDSM your right superchargers require more fuel to match the increased amount of air they induct in order to keep the fuel air mixture the same therefore decreasing gas mileage. where as turbochargers evacuate exaust decreasing back pressure and subsequently increasing mpg and hp

  • @rainrain991 Turbochargers do not increases gas mileage. Anytime you add more air you have to add more fuel. Also turbo chargers do not help with exhaust flow they cause backpressure which spools the turbo. A turbo on a smaller displacement engine can have better gas mileage than a bigger displacement engine, but adding a turbo is not going to increase mpgs. BTW you contradicted yourself.

  • @zeeya2002 That cant be true, a supercharger is taking power from the engine to spin the blower. Its called parasitic loss I think. Just like putting e-fans instead of a clutch fan. You gain a tiny bit of power from not having to spin the fan. Not trying to bash, just speaking from experience.

  • niiiice.. hows your mpg now?
