It would not take much "Hollywood" magic-makeup to get Drew to look like Thelma Todd. Their facial features are very similar. It's obvious to me.

She does remind me of Drew barrymore. Maybe Drew should play her in a film about her life and mysterious death. The Tv Version with Loni Anderson was okay but very tv-movie in style, and a bit dated

Drew could play Thelma--she has the general facial bone structure if not T.'s exquisite beauty--but makeup can take care of that. More importantly, could she pull off Thelma's comic timing? Drew is not exactly a great comic--one wishes she would chanel some of her acting ancestors more. With the right direction she might pull the lead off. I usually don't care for rock songs for videos of 30's actresses--but this is lovely. Thelma was a delight. Wonder if her murder will ever be solved.

Drew does look like the divine Toddy (I know she hated that sobriquet). But I know of an actress who has an even closer resemblance to the exquisite Thelma---Virginia Madsen. By the way, the only way to figure out who killed this beautiful, funny lady is to hold a controlled seance (no crazies) at her former apt/cafe--this may put her spirit to rest--she's trying to tell us....my guess Lucky Luciano who wanted her place for gambling. The gutsy Thelma refused--and may have payed with her life.

Drew has a remarkable resemblance to Meena Kumari (legendary Indian actress who died on 31st March 1972. Drew was born Feb 22nd 1975. You can google Meena Kumari's pictures if you like.

Some think she may have slipped on the steps before reaching her apartment, and Roland West, who was her roommate refused to let her in, so Thelma, injured from her fall, and drunk, entered the garage, got into her car and started the engine to keep warm, and simply passed out and never woke up due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Unfortunately, yes she was. Her untimely passing was one of Hollywoods greatest losses. She is greatly missed. Let's keep her memory alive by watching her movies and shorts!!!
