Man, this still pisses me off. This was the only late night talk show that I really liked, and it's canceled. I liked his show because it was different. I understand that he and his wife are going through a divorce, but I find it disrespectful that he didn't thank her or his family. Nevertheless, I still love and am going to miss the show.
His routines become dated, he graduated four years before me from the same high school. I ended with impressions that he enjoyed glorifying the worst of our community, the gangs.
Maybe in the future George Lopez will become an activist to expose the deeds from the corrupt and toxic people who benefit from the bad laws that we have.
First off, I enjoy Lopez's stand up; I think it's funny. But the scripted BS he had on this show wasn't even enjoyable, much less entertaining. ABC, NBC and CBS have the market cornered. Maybe if they would have tried it at 9PM they could have picked up more viewers but I doubt it. Certainly Lopez is talented, but people who watch Letterman and Leno are not going to watch Lopez after the newness wore off. I would not be shocked to see Conan go soon.

Lopez Tonight was vibrant, had life, had good music, lots of entertainment.. @RedDevilsChicha14 There are just too many late night talk shows. Then there is the fact that not everyone has cable and those that do are not likely to watch a cable talk show. ABC, NBC and CBS have the market cornered. Maybe if they would have tried it at 9PM they could have picked up more viewers but I doubt it. Certainly Lopez is talented, but people who watch Letterman and Leno are not going to watch Lopez after the newness wore off. I would not be shocked to see Conan go soon.

@RedDevilsChicha14 I don't know if you are old enough to remember but FOX tried Magic Johnson and that flopped (and Magic was not entertaining at where Lopez is/was). FOX tried Chevy Chase and that didn't work. I thought that would have been a fit for sure. Lopez will bounce back!

Lopez Tonight was vibrant, had life, had good music, lots of entertainment.. I see Lederman, Conna, Lenon.. and seroiusly.. all I see if a bunch of old guys making really unfunny jokes.. to the point I feel there must be 10 guys around holding the signs "APPLAUSE", "LAUGH" to let the audience know when to react..
I always believed that race has a factor in the humor.. when I was exposed to american humor, european humor, even asian humor.. most of the time I dont find it funny..

It's that idiot Leno who started screwing other guys out of their rightful late-night positions in 1993 when Letterman should have gotten The Tonight Show. Dave turned it into an amazing opportunity and did fine, but others haven't been so lucky. This time George has suffered through no fault of his own and this round started with Leno's failure with his evening show.

I think it's F'd up. He gets pushed back an hour because Conan takes his 11:00 spot. Loses viewers because his show is ran at midnight. Facts shown this.. But now Conan is in the midst of being cancelled also. Why not bring Lopez back to his 11:00 spot and promote the show more? He had great guest and great interviews.
