He's out of pocket, some say enough to close his publication down...$100,000 or so. I wonder if Canadian Jewish organizations are asking him to back off on this threat. Another gang rape in Pakistan.Police arrested seven men who allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped a married woman in eastern Pakistan in retaliation for her young relative's affair with a sister of one of the suspects, a police official said Wednesday.

Explain to me this - If he's such a great man, why did he try to get the person he'd debated with on the radio arrested? First he tried to get him arrested, and when this was dismissed, he got this Orwellian thought-police to harass him. Both are signs of a petty, laughable excuse for a "great man". HRC complaint has not been withdrawn or dropped,I had supplemented said complaint on Feb 3rd 2008,I have sent complaint to PM Harper,AHRC and Calgary HRC as well.
Ezra has allegedly breached Canadian reverse moral & Copy rights,criminal codes of hate,racism and repeat on two counts.

Human rights commissions were chartered under UN HRC mandate and Canada is a signatory to that.
I don't think trouble is with the relevant laws or the institutions.

This is funny, they say we need the law to stop hate, yet when you can't apply in Canada for a job at public works, the RCMP if you are a white male that is tolerance because it's just scummy white males not getting the job.
See defending against hate doesn't apply to whites, males or Christians because it's just assumed that it's ok to burn churches and deny people who are white jobs that is not hate.

Thank goodness for Levant. I was outraged over the cowering of the media after the Muslim backlash from the first publishings of the mohammed cartoons. I'm glad someone is finally standing up for free speech. Go Levant! I hope he sues Soharwardy and the Alberta human rights commission. This is absolutely free speech. Here in Canada, we allow public criticism of religion, government policy, etc. The Catholic church gets publicly criticized on a regular basis. I've never seen Catholic priests running to the HRC complaining of hurt feelings. Free speech is an honoured and accepted part of Canadian society. Insult simply isn't a good enough reason to deny someone free speech. Soharwardy orignially went to the police, and they told him, "Sir, we're not in Saudia Arabia" hehe
