@BDthizzin Ummm no it doesn't. I have raced two in my 99 Z28. On the street and track. Won both times. Only thing done to my Z is Exhaust and short shifter. Both 5.0s had exhaust, but the one I raced on the street had a tune also. I still won. So no, it doesn't "eat them for breakfast." Mustangs are still slow. It's really sad when a N/A V8 will hang with and beat a Supercharged V8(03-04 cobra), and then after they upgrade the engine, will still beat it. It's all about the overall setup.

@BDthizzin Lol! The new Camaros are slower than my year model LS1. I have beaten stock new camaros also. On the street race I had two lengths on the 5.0 until 130MPH which is where we both let off. In the 1/4 I had about a car to a car and a half. I spun a little more than I wanted to. We were both on street tires. He had exhaust, and I have exhaust. I beat him by at least a full car. You don't have to believe me. I know what happened. If I can find him again I will video it!
Thanks man! I am in the process of getting it painted. I have the paint and I can use my local colleges paint booth, I just need to get the time. I am going to video the process of it also. After I get that done I am going to start on motor mods. I am planning to video my building process so more vids of it will be coming soon! I have been around and working on cars all of my life and I have been racing since I was 12. I love it! I do all of my own work on my cars. Its a big learning experience!

@BDthizzin They are really good cars! I love mine! I had a 98 Z71 Ext cab that I traded straight up for the Z28. Only thing I have done to the Z is exhaust, SLP MAF, and Hurst Short Throw shifter. When I start mods it's only going to be Headers, True Duals, Cam, Heads, and Nitrous. And supporting mods like injectors and etc. Looking to push about 450-500 on motor, and 550 -600 on spray.
@BDthizzin Either a MS3, torquer V2 or a Tsunami. And It will just depend on what cam I get for me to decide what heads. My last setup that my bro did on his 01 SS was a Torquer v2 with 5.3 heads and he had 460hp to 500tq going to the wheels! All motor! It was a beast!

The Probe actually is an american import car. Its parts are interchangable with a nissain 240sx, Eclipse,Talon, and a few others. The Mustang is a good car when it is a GT, but they will lose to most F-bodies. It takes Ford to use Shelby, Rousch, Saleen, and other aftermarket companies to compette with them.
First of all mustangs haven't changed thier style they have been the same every yr passed the 90s camaros change thier style each yr to make them nicer. Last camaro fourth generation was 2002 then they took a brake til 2008 thier even better

Also, this same 3800 Series II is the same motor that was in the Grand National by Pontiac. All you had to do was pop the turbo in like i did by Camaro. Mustang has good stuff now though.

there is no LS-4 and the LS-3 is a special order crate engine from chevy only and its a modified LS-2 with a different cam and different head design with a 3mm bigger intake valves and 4mm bigger exhaust valves and differnt piston configuration resulting in i lil lower compression ratio than the LS-1 and LS-2 ideal for a turbo or supercharge application... look for it as an option on the late 2010-2011 camaros. matched up to redesigned 6-speed manual and a independent, possi rear diff..!!!<:)

my camaro with lt1 and a K&N intake and chip --304 hp with 327 pounds of torque. used mine for example 'cause i couldnt find any site that had the camaro stock lt1 specs. to be honest 110 pounds for 20-40 more hp and abit more torque seems alot better deal.

Both 5.0s had exhaust, but the one I raced on the street had a tune also. I still won. So no, it doesn't "eat them for breakfast." Mustangs are still slow. It's really sad when a N/A V8 will hang with and beat a Supercharged V8(03-04 cobra), and then after they upgrade the engine, will still beat it. It's all about the overall setup.

@BDthizzin Lol! The new Camaros are slower than my year model LS1. I have beaten stock new camaros also. On the street race I had two lengths on the 5.0 until 130MPH which is where we both let off. In the 1/4 I had about a car to a car and a half. I spun a little more than I wanted to. We were both on street tires. He had exhaust, and I have exhaust. I beat him by at least a full car. You don't have to believe me. I know what happened. If I can find him again I will video it!

Thanks man! I am in the process of getting it painted. I have the paint and I can use my local colleges paint booth, I just need to get the time. I am going to video the process of it also. After I get that done I am going to start on motor mods. I am planning to video my building process so more vids of it will be coming soon! I have been around and working on cars all of my life and I have been racing since I was 12. I love it! I do all of my own work on my cars. Its a big learning experience!

@BDthizzin They are really good cars! I love mine! I had a 98 Z71 Ext cab that I traded straight up for the Z28. Only thing I have done to the Z is exhaust, SLP MAF, and Hurst Short Throw shifter. When I start mods it's only going to be Headers, True Duals, Cam, Heads, and Nitrous. And supporting mods like injectors and etc. Looking to push about 450-500 on motor, and 550 -600 on spray.

The Probe actually is an american import car. Its parts are interchangable with a nissain 240sx, Eclipse,Talon, and a few others. The Mustang is a good car when it is a GT, but they will lose to most F-bodies. It takes Ford to use Shelby, Rousch, Saleen, and other aftermarket companies to compette with them.

Also, this same 3800 Series II is the same motor that was in the Grand National by Pontiac. All you had to do was pop the turbo in like i did by Camaro. Mustang has good stuff now though.

My GT has full exhaust and on street tires runs 8.7@81mph in the 1/8 mile and has outran my friends car who runs 13.5's. quit talking shit to people who drive a Ford or people who drive Chevy's. there is no LS-4 and the LS-3 is a special order crate engine from chevy only and its a modified LS-2 with a different cam and different head design with a 3mm bigger intake valves and 4mm bigger exhaust valves and differnt piston configuration resulting in i lil lower compression ratio than the LS-1 and LS-2 ideal for a turbo or supercharge application... look for it as an option on the late 2010-2011 camaros. matched up to redesigned 6-speed manual and a independent, possi rear diff..!!!<:)

I did some research and there is actually an LS4 engine produced by GM, it's in the 2006-2007 Monte Carlo SS. It's a 5.3L V8 rated at 305hp.
The LS3 comes standard in the 2008 and newer Corvettes...

The LS1 came out in 1997 in the C5 Corvette and in 1998 in Camaros/Trans Ams. So year for year Camaro Z28 and Trans Am beat Mustang GT.

the reason they were racing on this road is the guy in the mustang was bein a puss and didnt wanna race anywere else was afraid to get caught.... my friend is in the camaro. it ran pretty good we went to the track and it ran a 14.07 against my truck that ran a 14.57.

I'm a definite GM guy but the notch mustang is a very serious car. Ford built it right. Think about it. No Weight. Simple. Powerful and hold their value pretty well. Better than comparable third gens F cars. Ford can build car and so can GM. Have your choice but dont knock either one.
