Well from this video I really understood that driving will be more difficult than on Dirt2. And there is even higher level of feeling when you 'enter' different road surface. Drives completely different.
Another thing is how good speed is shown, you can feel that you are going fast.
Acceleration is just monstrous. Looking forward to this game. I hope it will not disappoint like Dirt2 did with not allowing to play Rally ONLY in single mode.
@AgamicOx It is more difficult than DiRT2 you can just throw the car into a corner and it will slide around. You can feel the rear of the car getting lighter and you feel the under-steer.
There was a section in the stage where I went from Tarmac to Gravel then back to Tarmac, when the car hit the gravel I was sliding all over the place. You need to be on your toes all the way through the stage.
Its so rewarding when you get to the stage end though.
@Danglydotcodotuk That is what every rally fan is expecting from the game. To feel the change of grip by your wheels. To feel how wheels are griping the gravel and how you barely can hold on to the wheel when entering asphalt.
Is the feel for terrain same on all difficulty levels?
Can you really feel the difference if you adjust setting on your differentials (front/rear/central)? [Or Dirt3 is not so adjustable?]
Suspension, power ratio front/rear, tire pressure?
@AgamicOx The driving physics in the game are very good and yeah I could feel everything. As you might see from me driving I was over driving it.
Once I was using the brakes/accelerator to balance the car it was more controllable. There was less of a need to use the steering wheel to correct things.
Driving gravel tyres on tarmac is difficult because of the high suspension travel and the car likes to more about as well. I can't comment on any of the other details as I didn't get a chance
@AgamicOx No problem, I'm glad you are enjoying the video. Doubt I'll have any more DiRT3 videos now as its released next week. Maybe have some for DiRT 4? :D
That was the best part about RBR—hanging on by the skin of your teeth, sheer terror at how stupid fast you were having to drive to get the time you needed, and managing to pull it off. Best feeling in the world.
@MrLegendZ1 Monaco, LA, London, Aspen , Smelter (Michigan) but they are all not used for Rally, just RallyX, Landrush, Gymkhana or Head2Head (Special Stage).

How are you so good? I am AWFUL at this game... it is SO funny... does a steering wheel help?

@DrH4x0r1 The steering wheel is hard work but so worth it and so much fun!

Good to see it supports x3 screens, but does it support x3 monitors with the 2 sides at angles?

@Danglydotcodotuk Yeah, it looked like wheel is very sensitive. Even slightest turn was impacting your car.
Thank you for answers! Keep video coming!
