First, the "one in the middle" is not the biggest pyramid at Giza, its the one on the right (Khufu) that is the largest. Second, Giza is a suburb of Cairo to the southwest of the city center, not "northern Cairo" as Stephen said.

I was a flight attendant in the US and we never knocked on the cockpit doors. We had keys we had to use. You had set times that you could enter the cockpit during the flight. If you knocked on the door and asked to enter it was a signal that something was wrong and the cockpit crew would not answer the door.

Random fact in response to the question on "fattest country" - despite the esteemed Mr. Fry's assertion, one can actually gain weight from eating too *little* food as well.

Bizarre as it is, eating miniscule amounts of food can cause your metabolism to crash so badly that you gain weight - as my nutritionist taught me after I kept gaining weight while eating 800 calories a day.

Now if I need to lose a pound, I actually just eat a little more :-)

How I miss the old days when I first learned of QI... I remember it like it was yesterday.. They were halfway through the H season besides the new episodes I could watch all the rest of the episodes I wanted and they would all be new to me! And now i have to get used to just 1 new episode a week... The old days will never come again... That makes me sad....
