  • What a complete shame that they didn't perform. Holly has such a unique voice that it could never work without him. I thought if they had one last push he might have been persuaded. It's a pity that the show couldn't give them more time to reherse beforehand.

  • then again hollys the singer and hes gotten a bit fat. I think he would let himself and his reputatuion, as he said, down.

  • Its like they make holly more imortant because he was the frontman and the so-called 'personality' which i think we can relate to but it's unfair.

  • it's ok, Holly.

  • I will always love you guys

  • C'mon Holly. I know you have your reasons, but you have money and fame. The canyon of difference can't be so broad that you can't perform. Just once. This goes for Morrissey and the Smiths, as well.

  • these guys were something else, such a shame they could not get back together, welcome to the pleasuredome still sounds amazing as does relax and two tribes, come on fellas! give it another go!

  • @jonash995 Damn right! Welcome to the Pleasuredome is my favorite and will always be one of my all time favorite songs.

  • HEY ! Holly Johnson ....... relax

  • I can see both points of view. Holly made a good point when he said that the band may do it in the future if it was for themselves. He did not want to be summoned by VH1 to perform on command/request (like a "wedding singer"). For that prudent integrity, I applaud him. But, I also feel that the band will never seek out that opportunity to play again.

  • @Stonewallization You certainly have a point. I'd like to think they'll reunite one of these days, but I really don't see that happening....

  • Holly was totally right.

  • this version of relax at the end of the clip is very cool. this should be on the special edition of "welcome to the pleasuredome", but it isn´t :-(((

it´s a pity that holly didn´t reunite with the lads. the show was great without him either as you can see on the anniversary concert for trevor horn.

  • this is where i like to play the game "spot the mankey."

  • Maybe Holly was not sure if they still could pull off a good performance. However, it is great to see these guys together in the same room after so many years.

  • I understand all band members decision. Sometimes it is better to let the magic at it`s place as it was. The magic we have in the memory could have been destroid. So my respect and all the best wishes!

  • I always admired Holly Johnson mainly because I thought the band was unique and he was a great performer. I applaud the other guys for making it happen in getting together but, Holly, to me, you are a serious let down in spoiling what could have been a great re-union. What a shame.

  • This should be revisited before more time has passed. It's about time and proper ability to prepare really. Like Holly said "not a wedding singer", he an artist. One can hid behind a missed note or off a beat, but should you miss on vocal and all will know won't they.

Holly those were some of the best and not just on stage living and loving it. One can never go back, but for a short while and a gleem in the eye relive magic only you possess.

  • Holly forgot that had he played with the band he might a sold some records.....pity.

The cds Frankie Goes to Hollywood put out wre something to be proud of. Produced with the genius of Trevor Horn. Some streets you can't go back down again, I suppose.

  • Super clips, thank´s

  • Frankie goes to Hollywood Liverpool

  • Thank you, prody...Loved this!

  • this rocks
