When I first heard this song at Church camp, I started bawling. God really used this song to punch me in the gut (in a good way, when God strikes you hard it releases a lot of pain).

Tonight one of my friends died in a car accident with I believe it was two others and two more are in the hospital. This song helps out a lot, it reminds me of how much God loves us, how much He cares and how some day we too will be able to meet God in heaven, and everything will be alright again. Where there will be no weeping, hurt, pain, suffering, darkness, no sick, or lame. Please be praying, there are a lot of people affected by these deaths and we need strength and encouragement.
my younger brother has a severe case of autism and i can especially relate to this song and its chorus. as an older sister, I worry about his salvation, if he understands that Jesus died for Him, that in His arms, there is no sick or lame. in heaven, autism does not exist. we are already perfect in His eyes and no mental illness can separate us from God's ridiculous love. hillsong united is amazing for creating this song, but more importantly our Heavenly Father is just out of this world.

I am in Bible College right now and believe it or not you get drain alot through it. If it wasn't for amazing worship like this during my personal time with God getting his word and presence in my life I wouldn't make it, I thank God for everything he has done in my life and is gonna do through me after I finish Bible College.

After all this time of Jesus "holding me" I have realized that when you do "look for God" he will not reveal himself. Many asked why there is suffering in the world when God is supposed to be loving. Why does he allow it when He says he love us ? Perhaps because suffering comes from sin, and sin comes from the sinful thoughts of humans. To remove suffering would be the same as removing our thoughts...and without our thoughts, we are nothing more than automatons. God doesn't want that. Free will is a gift from God to us.
Oh how blessed are those who can say from their hearts, "To live is Christ and to die is gain", because they have found the thing that matters most in life. Oh what wonderful peace, assurance and unspeakable joy they have in their hearts.
Being a Christian isn't just going to church or reading the Bible everyday. It's sharing God's love with everyone and telling people about the good new that Jesus died on the cross for them and they can go to Heaven! If they just accepted Jesus into there heart! As Christians we are commonly accused of having blind faith in something. There is a difference between having blind faith and intentional faith. The gir's soccer coach at my school just died today of cancer. This song is my encouragement that reminds me that he is with Jesus and free from his sickness and pain. While on this earth, we may experience that pain and sickness, but Jesus holds us and protects us while we are here! Then when we die, we do not feel any of that anymore! R.I.P. I used to be so afraid of dying and used to serve this God i felt so far away from, just so that i could be free from this hell that i wasnt even sure existed. But when I truly found God, i was freed from religion. God is no longer a being that I was forced to believe in so that i could be free from Hell or any other punishment. He is my Father and my friend, And I KNOW for sure he exists. Life is not an accident and you matter.

But then the question arises, "Who am I to question what God does?" The problem with pain and suffering is something that I have a hard time understanding even as a Christian. If you want to look at a well written explanation about pain and suffering read the book of Job. I know its in the bible but at least it addresses the issue.

@myxmai96 catholic is not only go to the church and pray rosary. We sing too and we do a lot of different things, but it's true that maybe your ways sometimes are more atractives for young people. It is the relationship that is most vital with out it we are just following a religion and practising what we know to be compulsory. Have you considered the depravity of man to be the cause of these wars? Christians are among the most hypocritical people you will meet, myself included at times. Yet, my mistakes, and their mistakes, should not discount the existence of God, whether you believe in one or not. The existence of God...is an entirely different topic.

Stop fighting. If you don't believe in God, you are a fool to not believe in a higher power. There's a reason for this. If you believe in evolution, meaning you don't believe in a higher power, trace everything back to the beginning. If there was a big boom or two protons collided or whatever, where did the "big boom" come from? Where did the protons come from? Whatever it may be, time began with something that created itself. Tonight one of my friends died in a car accident with I believe it was two others and two more are in the hospital. This song helps out a lot, it reminds me of how much God loves us, how much He cares and how some day we too will be able to meet God in heaven, and everything will be alright again. Where there will be no weeping, hurt, pain, suffering, darkness, no sick, or lame. Please be praying, there are a lot of people affected by these deaths and we need strength and encouragement.

my younger brother has a severe case of autism and i can especially relate to this song and its chorus. as an older sister, I worry about his salvation, if he understands that Jesus died for Him, that in His arms, there is no sick or lame. in heaven, autism does not exist. we are already perfect in His eyes and no mental illness can separate us from God's ridiculous love. hillsong united is amazing for creating this song, but more importantly our Heavenly Father is just out of this world.

Being as straightforward as possible... I spent the last 7 years of my life humbly devoted to Jesus Christ and sought to let him change my life. Leaving my past behind to follow the "Word" has been the most confusing aspect of my life. After all this time of Jesus "holding me" I have realized that when you do "look for God" he will not reveal himself. Many asked why there is suffering in the world when God is supposed to be loving. Why does he allow it when He says he love us ? Perhaps because suffering comes from sin, and sin comes from the sinful thoughts of humans. To remove suffering would be the same as removing our thoughts...and without our thoughts, we are nothing more than automatons. God doesn't want that. Free will is a gift from God to us.

Being a Christian isn't just going to church or reading the Bible everyday. It's sharing God's love with everyone and telling people about the good new that Jesus died on the cross for them and they can go to Heaven! If they just accepted Jesus into there heart! Its not about demanding everyone that they have to do this or do that. All it is is Love. we don't "Follow the rules" because we have too. We choose too. Because God is Love and He loves everyone. And everybody deserves to go to Heaven.

The gir's soccer coach at my school just died today of cancer. This song is my encouragement that reminds me that he is with Jesus and free from his sickness and pain. @Devega33 Ever since I found God. I felt this assurance in my life. I used to be so afraid of dying and used to serve this God i felt so far away from, just so that i could be free from this hell that i wasnt even sure existed. But when I truly found God, i was freed from religion. God is no longer a being that I was forced to believe in so that i could be free from Hell or any other punishment. He is my Father and my friend, And I KNOW for sure he exists. Life is not an accident and you matter.

@Devega33 You know that whole issue is something I question as well. Why would an all loving, omnipotent God allow pain and suffering to exist to his creation? But then the question arises, "Who am I to question what God does?" The problem with pain and suffering is something that I have a hard time understanding even as a Christian. If you want to look at a well written explanation about pain and suffering read the book of Job. I know its in the bible but at least it addresses the issue.

@Devega33 faith isnt about religion. its about believing. you prolly got bored/hated going to those long masses, praying the rosary,etc. and its ok. everyone is different. but there are other fun ways to express yur love for God; try seeking youth groups. and wen you pray, pray from the heart. God doesnt answer yur prayers right away or in the way you want him to. He works in mysterious ways. and if you TRULY seek him, hell deliver you. and may i ask, how is yur life better than wen a catholic?

@Devega33 with god, anything is possible - that's what christians believe. This is because he is greater than everything, and since he owns everything and made it, he can give it to us, as long as we have that relationship with him.
if you're an atheist, you're then telling yourself that there are limits to what's possible, because you believe there is no higher power (aka god)
all in all, Christians have more freedom and life than atheists. We accept more than you do.

@myxmai96 catholic is not only go to the church and pray rosary. We sing too and we do a lot of different things, but it's true that maybe your ways sometimes are more atractives for young people. I love this group, this persons make me feel so happy when i heard their songs and that is not a bad thing. As u said, is not about religion, is about believing. @Devega33 let me explain one thing to you - when you are a christian (or catholic) all this means is that you are in a relationship with god.
You can do anything you want in life, accept yourself and your responsibility, and so much more. you can do anything! yes - you can sin, but then you're not a proper christian, are you?
think about it like this - in a relationship, there are no 'set rules' instead, people naturally don't cheat on their girlfriends/boyfriends out of respect.

It isn't just about going to church and praying, that every one can do. It is the relationship that is most vital with out it we are just following a religion and practising what we know to be compulsory. When people find Christ what they are saying is that they are accepting the reality of a God who has been pursuing, not searching for, their love so that they may know the Father and spend eternity with Him.

Have you considered the depravity of man to be the cause of these wars? Christians are among the most hypocritical people you will meet, myself included at times. Yet, my mistakes, and their mistakes, should not discount the existence of God, whether you believe in one or not. The existence of God...is an entirely different topic.

What if that 0.1% that cannot be proved by science instead points to a God that created the rest of the 99.9%? I believe that neither science nor religion will ever be proved absolutely. It is up to ourselves to decide what to believe in and thus give purpose to our lives. I have faith in God, you have faith in science.

@lovehopesalvation I agree, humans are limited to their perception of the universe...but when you simply accept the fact that there is so much more than just you, your e yes are opened to not just the possibility of an infinite being, but the exact existence of such a being. This being has created us and controlled everything that has happened int his universe. And its sad when people don't give God the credit he deserves. And since he is so limitless, he chooses to love them anyways. :)

Stop fighting. If you don't believe in God, you are a fool to not believe in a higher power. There's a reason for this. If you believe in evolution, meaning you don't believe in a higher power, trace everything back to the beginning. If there was a big boom or two protons collided or whatever, where did the "big boom" come from? Where did the protons come from? Whatever it may be, time began with something that created itself. Something came from nothing. Figure that out and let me know.

@nyy22592 you say that there is no evidence for God. but yet you fail to see that the Bible is more than a religious text but it is a book of history. we have evidence that events mentioned in the Bible happened and not just exclusive biblical evidence. We have extrabiblical evidence from philosophers such as Josephus to prove that Jesus lived. You can choose to reject all of this if you want but you would just be joining the other heathens, butthurt and hellbent on denying God.
