mate if youre scoring like that pre course youre there. I was scoring around 16 after watching lots of these and then I scored 24 the night of the first day of the course. The next nght after day 2 id passed the exam after 31 questions! Took a mock exam on the day of the actual exam and scored 38!! THEN only got 28 in the actual exam but it was enough thankfully!
words cannot express my thanks to you for taking the time to upload this course and explain it all. I pass my exam today after the course and could NEVER have done it without watching about 40 of these slides as preparation.
I recommend anybody going on this course to take some time to go through your slide show as it is a very challenging course on its own without any study. also - DO your study the nights of the courses on the material too, it will get you over the line. Marco :)
I have been watching to lesson 50 now in 4 days and already score between 62-70% on the sample tests I have tried. You make ITIL fun, interesting and I just want more of it. Only six days left to my exam that I'm paying for myself so I'm putting all my eggs in your basket. It can't go wrong.
I like.. really think this video is useful.. and like.. good knowledge to know for like.. an IT specialist.. and like.. it will help us provide better service management, and like.. help the business operate more efficiently.
@shadowoflawyer Congrats and well done! That makes you wonder why these public training organizations charge you an arm and a leg for something that's basically common sense :) Don't thank me, but thank YouTube instead - they make sharing knowledge available to anyone :)
This chap, Marco, is highly talented (ehemm.. ok, motivated) to produce videos like these. ITIL means much more to me now. Having watched these videos, they contributed in no small way to my quick prep and I passed my ITILv3 Foundation earlier than I had estimated. This is a proof that you did something well worth it. Keep it up!
salve marco sto studiando per la certificazione itil v3 foundation e devo dire che questi video sono abbastanza esemplificativi quindi grazie per il servizio reso e ti devo un caffe' !
not sure how I've managed to work in IT my whole life ( I'm 36 ) with out knowing /any thing what so ever/ about ITIL ! LLOL have some learning to do I reckon
ITIL is basically based on a lot of common sense management practices, so you're likely doing most of it already :-), but hey, if you want to study ITIL, feel free to join the other CSU students! Ciao, IsleBeeBach
No matter what you do, or how good you are, somebody always has to complain. I've learned that over 60 years and it never changes.
Given the amount of (free) and (authoritative) information being presented by Marco, I find it incredible that a [evanstm] would be so petty as to complain about how often Marco used the word "like".
Keep up the good work Marco and try to ignore the kid at the back of the class ;)
Thanks black4pearl1 for your motivating feedback. If there's one thing I've learned being in front of a class delivering ITSM training, then it surely must be "you can't please them all". In the end you just "do" your thing and hope that most people appreciate the energy you put into it. I guess it's a lot easier teaching Photoshop than it is teaching ITIL :-) I don't believe there's any value at all trying to cram ITIL in a 3 day course, hence all my silly videos. Thanks again :-)
I've never claimed to be perfect and never will, but from a 35 year old person I would at least expect some constructive feedback. This only shows your level of immaturity and complete disrespect for people who are trying to make some knowledge more available to the wider community. Feel free to make it better, as this will serve us all.
Thanks for the reply :) I did give feedback. Perhaps you are too sensitive or defensive to recognize it: use "like" less. It rarely adds value, and often confuses the listener.
I appreciate your other videos with substance. I didn't like this, which is not an "introduction to the subject", but rather an advertisement for the specific class, and as such, not applicable to the "wider community". Therefore, I am unqualified to "make it better". Keep up the good work! :)
I'm completely aware that the first 10-30 videos aren't perfect and I guess we all have a learning curve when we start to do this YouTube stuff. I hope I'm less repetitive in my choice of words when you assess some of the more recent videos.
If you would like to record some audio for me, then I'm more then happy to discuss this.
I agree with pope314 comment. These videos are really good and I am considering an MBA with Charles Sturt Uni. So the web 2.0 business model is working. If you share what you do and get people interested they will be willing to pay!

Thanks Marco.
Just passed the exam. Without your vids it would be less fun to study. And for the next certificate i can only say: "I'll be bach"

This "teacher" is worse than a U.S. teenage ditz, with how many times he says "like". It's not attractive, in girls or old men.

Great videos that support the ITIL Foundation course. We should have more of this stuff on YouTube. At least someone knows what he's talking about.
