  • 映像の構図、音、ことば、全てが美しい。

  • Stirs the ashes of long dormant inspiration.

  • What genre would you describe this style as? Would be interesting to see who else out there is doing anything similar. I've so far only seen two Citreon 2CV's done like this.

  • if i had billgates money, first stop would be chabott.

  • 根っからのアーティストやな

  • This is the Zen of motorcycling...feel the ride...be the ride...

  • こういう風に生きたい!

  • I don't know how you could think that his bikes wouldn't be able to be ridden. That's kind of the whole point of what he's trying to explain. The whole art of his motorcycles lies not only in there rough beauty, but in the fact that they function. Any bike he makes can be ridden, and should be ridden, it's exactly what he says. Shinya is an artist, but before being an artist, he is a mechanic, and his machines run well.

  • @greaserod Sure, I guess technically a bike with no rear suspension, horrible front suspension, bias-ply tires, a suicide shifter behind the left leg, no air filter, a piece of metal for a seat, and a 120 degree lean angle can be ridden for a little while...

  • @UltraSWG You obviously don't get the beauty of the original Cafe Racer- the inspired people like this man that created a whole new world of motorcycles that the rest of us have reaped the benefits of their inspiration. He's honoring the heritage of the real dreamers like Soichiro Honda and others who changed the face of motorsports. This man is honoring a generation that today's Gixxer riders and couch cruisers have forgotten.

  • @greaserod

how is a bike that doesnt even have a seat, air filter or rear suspension meant to be ridden?? I understand that you can appreciate the looks of his bikes, but technically, theyre just piles of scrap really

  • Man, this stuff is just gorgeous. The film itself is amazingly well done, and the bikes, the creator's work - fantastic! The visual impact of his work is unbelievable. I get inspired to build stuff just from watching this. It's maybe the 20th time I've watched this film, and I'm doing it as prep before I go down in the basement and get to work. Outstanding!

  • Ce mec est un pur rêveur c'est ça qui en fait avant tout une personne exceptionnelle

  • This guy is more of an artist than a motorcycle builder. Hence, the interest in american junk from a guy born in Tokyo amidst the revolution in bike tech that was going on at the time. Nice to look at in an art gallery, and I am sure they go very well at the speeds their engines can attain; yet I would hesitate to ride one. That's something I'll say about very few motorcycles. Very skillful workmanship, but they look like ass to me. Industrial design hinges on looking unbreakable in proper use.

  • i've seen that bike somewhere and i thought it looked pretty badass.

  • Anyone that would click dislike on this is a car driving motorcycle hating waste of oxygen...that or they were so overwhelmed by the video they clicked on the wrong one.

  • Kids today need to see this...turn off the i-phones, exit "waste-book" and do something with their lives...this guy exudes passion, excellence, education and mastery of a long lost art...called...making something with your hands! You can't download a bike.......

  • This film is great. Love the sound design and excellent cuts. What was this shot on? 5d mk II?

  • The whole clip is amazing...However from an editing point of view the sound from the oxy torch moves from L to R but the motion in the video is R to L.
