I have had some useful suggestions i think should be added about the removal:

- when removing the a pillar trims the tops are held in with P clips at the top which need to be pressed in with a flat screwdriver first before pulling on the trims.

- It may be best not to work on the car in the cold because the plastic bar that runs along the bottom of the speedometer can break easily it happened to my car and someone else's. Its better to do it on a warm day, or be very careful.

are you after the code for a 2003 megane? Im not sure how to find it if its not in the owners manual or on the card that come with the car.
