I like FF5 but Exdeath transformed into this twisted supreme creature just to sit still and get the beatings, NOW THAT IS JUST PURE EVIL!

i found this boss ridiculous, its not even creative or cool the way he wipes you out with that one attack. its just like "blahblah", the screen flashes, and everybody dies. not very thought out at all, just lame and unfairly difficult. its like the programmers ran out of cool ideas or something.

instead of using bahamut , use a boosted syldra (magus rod equipped to summoner ) . it hits with almost same damage and the part with the female is brake-able (Brake spell or capturing and releasing mover ) by the way

The easiest way to kill neo exdeath is to use mix an mix a potion and a dragon fang on some one with zenigage like 4 times then use zenigage and it will hit 9999 lol thats how i did lol i just found out rofl

I still have this game in my draw somewhere for ps1, and i've recently aquired a ps2 off a friend that no longer wanted it, he even gave me a ps1 memory card with it too! Guess who's gonna go missing for a few weeks while playing FF5! ;D

When I first defeated ExDeath (tree form) I was like... IThat's it? I hope NeoExdeath will be harder... took me 10 tries (at the very least) to defeat Neo. I'd have to agree with most people here. NeoExdeath is the hardest final boss of the series. Although try to defeat Necron without any Ailment protection abilities... it's HELL

when I fought Neo Exdeath I didn't know what Grand cross looked like *if it was to be used in 3d* I figured it was like pin ball or something *all those spheres bouncing everywhere and destroying everything*. After Dissidia I wonder if they had that idea when animating it in FFV...

Not only is Exdeath one of Final Fantasies hardest final bosses, but he's definately the most twisted and evil. Unlike most enemies who will reveal their entire plan and a long drawn out drama, he just does it. Like when he starts opening the void rifts and they engulf the cities. He does wait for the Heros to get there so he can announce it. He just does it right then and there.

My tactic was just to suit em all with Mimic gear and whatever specials otherwise. the mimic ability allowed all of them to go nuts with each others powerful spells. This wasn't a terribly hard battle.

In final fantasy viii, the enemies level up with you, and they get stronger stat boosts, so technically a level 100 run would be a challenge while a no level run wouldn't

You should get Auras, use them and you pwn her. She's ultimecia, which you cant call a boss, because shes so easy.

Question: Can Meteor's damage be increased with any stat boosts? Like Str or Mgc? Same thing for Summons.

I think it's damage is came from mix of Magic+Speed*Level? I dunno, but enemies' defence might effect it too. But Meteor's damage is based to some sort of statistics, so it's really not 100% random, but not a Fixed-Damage-attack too.

Neo Exdeath is pretty much always considered the hardest final boss in the entire series, and I agree completely.

Final Fantasy I and III were great, I thought. Final Fantasy I doesn't have much for storyline, however, the difficulty kept me in it. III was awesome as well, what with the Job system, which is always a plus for me. Full customization with room for change. I haven't played too much of II, however, I though it wasn't THAT bad for what I've played.

I found Ultimacia was way easier than Sephiroth. I mean, a blind chicken with downs while on LSD could beat her.

Because he got zombified after Neoxdeath Grand Cross, that's why he also attack the others, gosh I hated that attack it cause random status problems, once it zombified my Butz, stone another and the oher two were already death.

Bartz-had finisher and Ianuki(lol forgot to remove 4 last boss ^^)

Krile-had finisher and spellblade

lenna-Black magic and summon

Faris-Time magic and White magic

I like finisher since it can do 9999 damage (or with flare spellblade, over 160000 damage ^^)
