i bet its very rewarding growing it yourself as i am just starting my first batch and its been going for 5 days now. I find my self just staring at it and smelling it everyday after work watching it progress it looks and smells beautiful ahhaha. I hope it works out Ive heard so many good things about kombucha, never tried it myself before so should be interesting :P

do u find that u have alot more energy 2 get through the day now? and an increased feeling of well being?? thanks again ;)

The mother is alive and well and has given birth to many babies since then! Never had any mold problems :) I have switched to a cloth cover, however.

i think that was mold not kombucha

it's probably because she used cheesecloth to cover it up.
