Fixed pitch heli's have a really tough time in any wind at all. The Honeybee FP was that way when I learned to fly with it. Now that I have the Belt CP with the high rotor speed, I can fly in high winds without a problem. Keep moving up, there's more fun to have!
Hey dumbass The lamas are fixed pitch. 4 blades all remain at the same pitch and adjust the altitude by increasing or decreasing the rotor speed instead of by adjusting the pitch of the blades. Idiot.

Channel 1 = Up/Down
Channel 2 = Yaw Left/Right
Channel 3 = Pitch
Channel 4 = Roll
Channel 5 = COLLECTIVE PITCH
Channel 6 = Gyro/Landing gear???
Channel 7+ = Other Stupid Features

This does not seem at all like the heli crashed due to wind. It seemed more like pilot error to me because he got to close to his own leg.
