  • most epic song ever!

  • This song makes me feel so epic :)

  • @hyperteenager me toyay epic nees

  • simply divine

  • btw, this symphonic poem lasts for about 30 min., but people of course know only the fragment seen in TV or advertising...

  • THIS IS **NOT** A "SONG" !!! is a SYMPHONIC POEM! why people classify EVERYTHING, from a medioeval organaum to a dodecaphonic string quartet as "song"??

  • @astolfo56 song is a category that encompasses all?

  • @astolfo56 Oh yeah, thanks for giving me a name to the type of symphony I like. I do not know musical people in that context (of music being the common ground), so I never hear formats or names.

  • @astolfo56 everything which getting composed is a "song"

  • When i discovered my first erection this was playing .... true story LOL

  • I listen to this when i'm on the shitter

  • If we ever meet aliens and join them in an interstellar society, this MUST be Earth's theme song

  • This song was playing when the sperm merged with the egg to form Chuck Norris.

  • this is the sound chuck Norris makes when he masturbates

  • @bazapunk lol

  • What, was this acutally written for the movie or written before?

  • @Zepikness Wait you got a point! I make a mistake! The song "Also sprach Zarathustra" was composed in 1896 by Richard Strauss. And thanks for you comment!

  • I dance a robot dance to this all the time! :)

  • You know, when I was little, I used to think this was actually the theme for 'Star Wars.' My little brain thought their themes sounded exactly alike. *shrug* Of course I know better now.

  • dude what is the real name for that song i need it so i can play it on the piano!!!?!?!?!?!?

  • @TheRichibaby It's "Also sprach zarathustra", good luck for the piano ! :)

  • @TheRichibaby

  • @TheRichibaby Also sprach Zarathustra

  • This is one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind

  • I played this in the background while creating a new world in Minecraft for the 1.5 update :D

  • @rockthisworld56 lol XD

  • Is it just me or was someone playing the first note really sharp?

    It hurt my ears :(

  • This isn't a song, it's a composition or, more specifically, a tone poem. And it was composed in 1896.

  • Slowest Film in the World. Fact.

    Worth it. Fact.

  • they thought we could go to mars and have all this creepy technology by 2001.haha

  • slowest film in the world. fact.

  • @greggentle Best film in the world. Fact

  • this movie had such astonishing everything ! from score to acting to cinematography to editing to sound and most importantly it delivers one of the most beautiful images i've ever seen on film

  • This isn't by Alex North. It's "Also Sprach Zarathustra," by Richard Strauss. None of the music North wrote was used in the final version of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Kubrick had become too fond of the placeholder music to replace it.

  • @FuriousOlm i know that! i am taking music lessons at school.i heard it there.

  • FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • “I'm a limousine ridin', jet flyin', kiss stealin', wheelin' dealin' son of a gun. WOOOO!!”
