Why does a bridge implosion bring up Obama? Bush brought us into this terrible recession and Obama is simply trying to fix the mess. I took Bush 8 years to screw everything up and you expect Obama to fix it in 1. Give the man a chance. Have you looked at total entitlement spending relative to the budget? And yet we are now going to add another huge entitlement to the federal budget system--those people who cannot get health insurance for whatever reason.

It's his plan because it is in his budget. Don't believe me, go look at it yourself. He predicts trillion dollar yearly deficits for the next 8 years plus. This isn't an argument. Whether it's a good plan or not is the argument. He already accounts for military savings, so that's not in play.

And when, please tell me, did I say we should not argue? We should, and we should in good faith. Saying one side is all wrong, which is how this began, is not arguing in good faith.

Driven across it many times coming back to Vermont from Albany. In the late 70's, there was this little toll both on the NY side and there would always be this little old man, fast asleep until a vehicle approached. He would then wake up, and announce" That'l be 50 cents, please".
