Theres this Program that plugs into your settings and it has all of these terminal commands but you select them so you can select the suck option by just checking a box, I think its called secrets

first go into terminal and in a new window (Shell) type in the following: defaults write com.apple.dock mineffect -string suck

press enter then type in the following:

killall Dock

Note:

anything in the dock that is minimized will un minimize.

Capital D in Dock Is needed.

This is cool, it's sort of like a combo of genie and scale since it goes fast and still animates. Hold shift once you've enabled suck to really see what it looks like.

Many people said it is the same as genie but look closer! You aren't paying attention. If you think it looks like genie, then so does scale.

@isctony If you look, it 'sucks' from the corner of the app. Genie 'sucks' evenly across the bottom. Look a little closer ;)

No it will not. You can easily reverse it by selecting one of the old animations (scale, genie) in the dock preferences.

I don't see much difference between 'genie' and 'suck' but finding secret settings is still cool all the same.

Nice tip. Utilities like the free Onyx and others do this without the need to use the terminal.
