How's the tv so far, It's a good deal on newegg and it'd be nice as a xmas gift. I just don't know if i want a 26in samsung computer monitor which supports 1080p or get a 32in hdtv for my 360. I can use the 360 on the 26in monitor if i got it, but 32in for the 360 would be nice to o.O

Im getting the 12000:1 version of that tv this week. I know its 720p but will it display 1080p if u set it on the 360? i know my 37 inch toshiba regza displays 1080p with my ps3. Just wanna know, would be an added bonus if it does.

well it wil display a 1080p signnal, but it scales it to fit its native resolution of 1366x768. u cant play 1080p on a tv that doesnt have that many pixels in the first place. 720p is ideal for a 32 anyway, the dif between 1080p and 720p on a 32" tv is not even noticable at a comfortable sitting distance.

i notice you only have the 1 set of speakers, is it linked to pc or the tv, if both how?

ok so the speakers can play from the tv via line in, xbox via optical 5.1 or through the pc using a coaxial. The decoder has all 3 connection types and can play either one by selecting the input on the front. the speakers are creative inspire 5.1 digital 5500. i think theyve been discontinued and replaced by the gigaworks 550w series. If your looking to buy tho id strongly suggest logitech z5500 they are truly the best you can buy at the minute.

OK, i was considering doing this myself but didnt want to compensate audio for one input just to play another ( I wanted to hear the xbox slightly whilst also listening to music from pc)

However I think I might go for the x5500 despite the price tag.

yea thats the only downside, i dont think any set of speakers allows you to play two inputs at the same time. ubt if i do want to listen to music i just play xbox thru the tv or listen to music on the xbox aswell so i can play and listen all thru the optical input :)

@ 1:12 you can see the top of my chair. when using pc i sit close to the desk and when playing games on xbox i just roll it a bit further back or sit on my bed :)
