best place to mount a cam on a bike is the center of the frame, this way you get minimal movement as shock dissipates unlike the handle bars which absorb all the shock from the front wheel, if the bike has dual suspension it would even benefit further mounting in the center

the shakeyness really kills the usefullness here.. also, the best place to mount a camera is on the frame, since that is most stable

yip, when filming a bike ride or so, allways attacth the camera to a helmet. your head is way more stabile than the handlebar.
