you can play japanese ds games on your european/american/whatever DS. almost all handhelds have no regional porting.

I´ve got the game and I´m very glad about it. Anno is my favorite game for the DS, because it´s easy to handle. You also have a lot of different enemies and the graphic is also very good for DS

At least they've improved the gameplay in this version in my opinion. (I'm not going to play it on a DS anyways - good games are made for high-end systems, like PCs :) )

Now, 9 months later, I'm not behind that opinion either. (though I rather play games with a nice quality) Nonetheless, I still dislike handheld games. I think of them more like an interactive notepad/mobile programming environment than something to play games on.

Compared to a lot of DS games, there's só much to do. So if I had a DS, I'd definitely had bought Anno 1701...

Sure I think a few graphicly shitty games are great and never get boring, but nowadays I can't really stand games with less than three dimensions. (GTA SA, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield 2142, BZFlag (BZFlag does have kinda shitty graphics, but I can't get enough of its gameplay :D ) )

This game was annoying and pointless for the PC so i assume will be for the DS to. Its like you gather wood and food, get people. gather iron, more food and wood, more people. Make weapons with iron, get more iron, get more wood, get more food, get more people. Get spices and fabric, make beer. Get more people. Who need more food and wood. Get medicines and rare goods, get more people. who need more food, wood, spice, iron....

3. it`s got a 4 player multiplayer!!!
