"Gyroscope" is supposedly an example of what a "numbers station" might sound like. Numbers stations are shortwave radio transmissions that are believed to be used by international spies. They typically consist of a voice, usually female, reading a long string of numbers, which are then decoded by a spy using a one-time pad. Hence, "Gyroscope" features a string of numbers that are meaningless unless one has the proper one-time pad to know what they signify.
I did this with Geogaddi a couple of years ago and now like to listen to the album in a 2hour session, first forward then backwards. Some especially creepy bits - a god with horns, teddy bears picnic, david koresh - but also some achingly beautiful melodies.
Haha, absolutely. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that Sunshine Recorder is better backwards than forwards, but yeah. It's kinda cool because it breaks down how they did some of the drums, y'know? As a musician myself, I have to say that it's pretty amusing.

For some reason, Music is Math backwards is making me nostalgic for Tomb Raider . . .

"Beware The Friendly Stranger" backwards is cool, but "Ready Set Go" is seriously creepy, but at least it has a peaceful end.
The pictures make me uncomfortable, though.

Wow.
It was just as good if not better backwards.
It's as if they wanted it to be symmetrical....

It's pretty impressive is what I can say! They're superb musicians; it'll be hard for them to top this album.
Now all we need to do is see them live!!
