@Ironchest100 The thing about traditional science is that it explane humanity and how we feel and behave in a technical, almost clockwork way witch is very hard for us to take in without sayin "it got to be more between heaven and earth". .Its "the ghost in the machine", if you like poetry. Traditional science explane the process in your body, but it is not the whole picture of what triggers the electric charges in the brain. Awareness of art is not just local chemicals, brother :)

Not quite. Bowie's song is a descending progression; I, IV/3 (3 in the bass), I/7, Maj VI, etc.

Inara's is an ascending progression; I/5, I aug/6, VI, I/7, etc.

Bowie's melody starts on the IV, Inara's on the I. But the melodies ARE thematically close.

This song is much more reminiscent of Brian Wilson or Beach Boys, ca. '66-'68. (God Only Knows, e.g.) The overall sound, as much as the music.

Anywise, her music is a joy to listen to.
