That's a really tough call to make in terms of a cheap shot early punch or a standard fight. He was quicker to the punch and Bradley was attempting to throw a punch, but Carcillo just planted him. I would have to lean toward disciplinary action based on the circumstances leading up to the fight. He had full intentions on hurting him as you can see when he had dropped his left glove to gain the immediate advantage even before the fight started.

Honestly, I didn't think it was a cheap shot because bradley threw his gloves off. In an interview, Carcillo said he wasn't trying to cheap shot him or do stuff like that. He just reacted quickly is what he said.

There may be a 10% chance that Bradley even wanted to fight. He ignored two checks when he was down, and was TRYING to skate away. Cuntcillo wouldn't have it. Grabbed his shirt and sucker punched him. I'm not sure that Bradley even took his glove off. I think he was trying to push him away and it flew off. Either way, The Caps only got 2 goals from the 9 minutes. Please explain the other 7 you Philthy morons.

i was at this game...all the phillies fans where cheering..wtf..when heward got knocked out at the caps game everyone stood has he got off, and payed their respects to him. but at this game every flyers fan was booing at the 15 minute penalties even though it was deserved..then they all cheered when the ref got hurt..blood thirsty much? jeez..

That's a really tough call to make in terms of a cheap shot early punch or a standard fight. He was quicker to the punch and Bradley was attempting to throw a punch, but Carcillo just planted him. I would have to lean toward disciplinary action based on the circumstances leading up to the fight. He had full intentions on hurting him as you can see when he had dropped his left glove to gain the immediate advantage even before the fight started.

Seriously guys. Anybody here commenting that has honestly played organized hockey in some sort of league knows what Carcillo did was against the code. NOT the rules, the code that players play by...governed by themselves. Why do you all think not one complaint has come from the Flyers organization about the suspension? Guys like Bob Clark, Paul Holmgren, and even Ed Snider...guys who get the rules within the rules...knew he was going to get suspended as soon as they saw a replay.
