@LaGunner1980 You can't blame Beiber and Britney for the demise of metal. Neither of them were even born when metal was crushed by the grunge scene. Why you ask? To be honest, as a hard core metal head myself in the 80's, metal deserved to get destroyed by grunge. Metal became too flamboyant, to silly, to juvenile, and totally irrelevant by 1990. Grunge came along at the perfect time, kids that were listening to metal since the age of 13 were growing up and needed music more introspective.
