  • regular show ftw!

  • these videos need wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more views.

  • funny thing is, I hated shows like Jimmy Neutron, and episodes of Spongebob past the movie release. AND I grew UP with those. I really feel like the shows of the 90's really *are* better, even though I was too young to truly remember it.

  • @GTAfan421 I understand how you feel, especially since I can tell why folks in my generation have been some of the most vocal critics of modern media and societies to an extent where younger folks who have recently aged into being able to use this site strongly agree with them, so I often tend to think that life and media back when most offspring of the original baby boomers were children were supposedly more wholesome in some sort of manner.

  • I was born in the late '90s. The early '90s cartoons are so much better than the early 2000s cartoons that I grew up with. Although I did enjoy some early 2000s cartoons, the '90s cartoons definitely take the cake.

  • what's the point of nostalgia it makes you look stupid and it is so annoying i always hear Dexters lab or Roccos modern life honestly i hated roccos modern life as a kid and i do know

  • Can you do a tribute to the Disney animated movies?

  • I used to be with "it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm "with" isn't "it" and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me. It'll happen to you!

  • @Cyberdwarf14 Now that you mention it, I bet you're not even surprised that even the Nostalgia Critic himself expressed it briefly at some point when he discussed the Nicktoons. He said that Hey Arnold was the last Nicktoon he went over because it came out around the time he officially stopped watching Nickelodeon. I guess he stopped watching in 1996 because that's when he psychologically outgrew the network.

  • Also, Maiden in '09 = fucking brilliant. Maiden last week = shit. But that's because most of their new stuff is looooong and booooring. Also, they were sacrilegous enough to leave the stage WITHOUT having played Run To The Hills. Which, for my money, is nothing short of criminal.

  • 09:00: Well that third album in the picture there IS shit, and I'd rather pretend it never existed. The other three I agree with you on-

  • you remind me of anthony bourdain

  • i am young teen and i hate the new Disney cn, and nick stuff.i watched a eposide of rocko modern life on nicktoons a couple of months and i LIKE it

  • @lopezfan24 Hmm...I guess I'd like to clarify that the stuff my generation grew up with were supposedly more wholesome than whatever today's generation is growing up with.

  • new thundercats is awesomeee

  • 12:36 lol

  • 11:23 -- I laughed because I'm one of those people with a VCR. xD

  • One thing I think everyone takes for granted. People complain about old music and tv shows being out of circulation on radio and tv but most of these classics can probably be found on youtube with the snap of a finger. It's actually provided another for aspiring comedians(and even ranters) so I am grateful to be young in a time where many of our favorite things are easily accesible. Back in the old days, you could only rewatch a tv episode by recording it.

  • I agree 110%. What was made in the past can't ever be redone (DIRTY DANCING REMAKE MUST DIE!). But I think today we see more of entertainment alienating generations of audiences, and fixing, or remaking, what isn't broken, especially movies and songs. There's a gap in originality and innovation between ideas in the past and ideas for today. If entertainment was more quality before quantity, then it swings both was with appealing to the past and present. Does that make sense?

  • must be bacckwords with micheal jjackson since my favrite song of his was smooth criminal as that came later in his carree

  • Don't worry about haters man. It's not just nostalgic bias when people criticize today's entertainment. It's been proven many times that they want to focus on pandering to a target audience rather than making a good tv show.

  • @ButlerLewis Sounds like the word "good" should be redefined. Speaking of which, I bet plenty of us were supposedly innocent and mature enough to stay in school in order to write in a prim and proper manner that is supposedly more helpful for knowing how to write a successful program. Luckily I plan on becoming a news anchor.

  • @SonicFamilyGal What are you talking about?

  • @ButlerLewis Well, some people tend to take important lessons that they learn in school and from other reliable sources quite seriously when they claim whether something they may find pleasant or not.
