Basements are perfect. Cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Unless you live in a god forsaken place like Texas or Alabama.

@tigerman1120 here in texas, Dallas county is my exact location, the weather is a bit of a downer, but setup a proper exhaust in a cool dark room it keeps the plants healthy

Kool grow box dude! Did you consider light proof door vents it would keep any light from escaping. Or dark room vents even better. good stuff  I like it.

Thanks. The gap at the bottom is no different than exhaust vents at the top and is desirable for ventilation and good air movement. Obviously when you need a dark period, light needs to be blocked, IF, the room that the closet is located in will be lighted during the dark period. This is easy to do if you need to. In many cases, the room will be darkened, making it unnecessary to completely block out light to the closet. This is usually the best way and improves air movement via the gap.

Great Job....I like the set up but I was also wondering about the gap at the floor. Would that be letting too much light into the closet? I've built a similar cabinet but I did not use the washers which I liked in your set up. Nice looking plant as well. Thanks for the Vid! You should show one on your Cloner as well!
