not everyone is interested in buying a place. some people don't want to sink $500,000 into an apartment/condo in one of the most expensive cities in canada. some people like the financial freedom and flexibility of renting, myself included. why should i be house poor to own a 550 sq ft. one bedroom condo that I can rent for a third of the price that I would be paying to own?? not to mention i could pick up and move anywhere in the world without having to worry about selling.
Use the BBB online and find the name of the company brass. Then you can go to face book and find them and their families and you can take action to demonstrate your displeasure of the money grubbing corporate scumbag activities. I'm not advocating hurting or annoying anyone at all mind you.
Sorry to hear that.I empatize with you because I'm going through the same thing at Taylor Place. You guys have to get together and organize yourselves like we did. Please make sure you watch the response video.
What do you all think about the properties listed in the 22204 zip code? Especially the two condo communities of George Mason Village and Fredrick Courts. I've seen lots of listings in those two divisions for well under $200k. Some REO/bank owned, and some are not, but they state "subject to third party approval". Any insight?
Go to taylor place in arlington va video.Property Management companies are doing this all over the country. Why wont you people just wake up it is called "repositioning"!!!!
Hollyburn Properties tenants need to get organized en masse. Not just one at a time, but all of us. This company is corrupt and greedy. One of the worst in the city.
Hollyburn's story that re-plumbing requires the apartments to be vacated is utter crap. I live in a Hollyburn Property. 5 years ago, HP replumbed/renovated. It took 3 months and at no time did they ever issue eviction notices before or during the process. The vacancy rate was higher then and they wouldn't have profited. It is entirely possible to live through it, plus all the dry-walling and painting. They tore out walls, fixtures, tiles, etc. Lots of people live it.
Hollyburn properties is full of corrupt and greedy people!!

Well maybe you need to buy a place? I'm not sure why 2 adults both with jobs can't buy a place...
