lol as tragic as this scene was, it was kinda funny when Manny was like "what the fuck?" after killing Angela's lover because he was expecting to see Jimmy coming out of the bathroom instead; and he was also shocked at the fact that 2 women were making love (due to the time period they were living in)

If anyone actually read the recent interview with William Forsythe, Horvitz will ultimately pay for his murder of Darmody's wife. I'm guessing it has to do more than the death of Horvitz character, but someone is going to kill his wife and daughter for revenge as well.

DAMN! I just had to watch this scene again. It was so crazy, and horowitz is so ruthless. Although it saddened me to see Angela killed like that, I can't be mad at Manny. Darmody basically refused to be straight with him and even went so far as to have him killed (yes he didn't order that hit, it was Waxy but Jimmy definitely betrayed him and knew what he was doing by talking to Waxy). Horowitz will be killed off soon I'm sure

Still I agree Jimmy fucked up, he didn't pay his debt and disrespected Munya to the point where all it took was a box of toothpicks from AC to convince Munya that Jimmy was behind the hit. Angela's blood is on Jimmy's hands as much as Munya's.

I was soo happy when Angela died. She was a cheat who cheated while James(Jimmy) was fighting in WW1, and when Mary Dittrich (the woman who filled her soul with love again) left she found some next lady she didnt know know to start loving. She found somebody else with no regret. She lived in Jimmy's house and took women when he was earning money. She is selfish, she wanted to take Jimmy's son to France without him knowing. While jimmy was beating on Mr.Dittrich she said nothing didnt say nothing

@slapheadk Is it really her fault though? They weren't married and she didn't hear from him for years so thinking he is dead is completely logical considering WWI. Your point about her finding some lady she didn't know is completely null: she was attracted to her on the beach because she was so outgoing and courageous to wear that bathing suit and then standing up to the police afterwards (you can see that in Palladino's performance). Also, since when is Jimmy faithful? Even after marriage? No.

@slapheadk You have a problem that she didn't conform to the lines set by that time era? How would that have been an interesting character? Who wants to see a play-it-safe stay at home housewife? It was her calling...she wanted companionship and obviously didn't have the means to leave before when she planned to go to Paris. Obviously Manny is gonna be shocked because it wasn't the norm back then, but her character was meant to show the plight of a closeted homosexual in such an odd time.

It was dumb to kill off her character. She had so many potential story lines that could've enriched the show in the future. Her secret lesbianism, her desire to do more with her life than just being Jimmy's wife, her relationship with Richard harrow. It's a shame she's gone.

Aleksa Palladino did some serious acting in this scene. Her fear seemed very real.
