Chino Morena is f*cking awesome. He has done so many onstage collaborations with artists. He's certainly a very appreciated musician, even among the best of artists, like Thrice, Cypress Hill and Korn, with whom he also performed onstage.

I have most of Radiohead's albums and heard everything by them. I know quite well Thrice does more in the experimental sence not just non-conventional riffs. And calling Thrice emo is about as dumb as when some dickheads consider Deftones as emo for having an emotional appeal. In the old days the only somewhat simular thing they did was post-hardcore which in itself is an experimental variant of hardcore punk. That band has taken good leaps musically.
Your adverse to sensitive stuff yet you like Deftones and Radiohead? As for the lyrics meanings they usually pertain to christianity and old literary works. The lyrics are often wrote in a cryptic way. I'm not religious but I can appreciate the style of lyrics. But it's like you said you won't give them much of a chance so your just saying your going by a false bias. No one can compete with those that look at music with a limited ear and negative perspective of things they just don't get.

He did ok but he really messed up with the way he said see. The rest was aswell imperfect but it all came off kind of good because of the emotional feel he adds. I think he cleaned up at the end with the hushed whispers and groans. When he lacks vocally his persona and style often make up for it. Overall it wasn't bad just kind of odd to hear him on this I'm so use to the original I guess.

I don't like them more but they are far more experimental. Too compare Radiohead and Thrice is a bit odd. Though Chino on a Radiohead song is a cool idea. Again you obviously never knew much about this band. Saying this band is average is just as false as saying Radiohead or Deftones aren't unique.

thrice is more experimental than radiohead? u have to go back to ur computer or cds and listen to both bands again and try that comparison once more...i dont think u got it. ill never give thrice a chance or any of the stupid emo bands u prob listen to. and i have listened to thrice. i was a fan stare at the sun,vhessu. but then i stopped being a whiny little bitch.

I have most of Radiohead's albums and heard everything by them. I know quite well Thrice does more in the experimental sence not just non-conventional riffs. And calling Thrice emo is about as dumb as when some dickheads consider Deftones as emo for having an emotional appeal. In the old days the only somewhat simular thing they did was post-hardcore which in itself is an experimental variant of hardcore punk. That band has taken good leaps musically.

Your adverse to sensitive stuff yet you like Deftones and Radiohead? As for the lyrics meanings they usually pertain to christianity and old literary works. The lyrics are often wrote in a cryptic way. I'm not religious but I can appreciate the style of lyrics. But it's like you said you won't give them much of a chance so your just saying your going by a false bias. No one can compete with those that look at music with a limited ear and negative perspective of things they just don't get.

lol thanks but at the same time I don't think it's that great to do that at times. I prefer just good and simple comments. But at times those that just comment only to annoy with narrowminded opinions can be a pain. But I'm not going to pay much mind to that kind of negative stuff much anymore. I agree but sometimes you have idiots that need to be brought down a peg or two and i love doing that and liked how you did it. Not stupidly but with intellegence and wit that just kind of makes them shut up.

Your absolutely right at times some need to be brought back down to earth every now and then. Yeah it does make them shut up after awhile. But some are only jokeing when they pull that kind of crap. Sometimes it can be somewhat funny but yeah still annoying.

I dont think Chino butchered the song at all. He added this real haunting edge to it.
But to each their own opinion.
Thrice and Deftones are two of my favorite bands.

He did ok but he really messed up with the way he said see. The rest was aswell imperfect but it all came off kind of good because of the emotional feel he adds. I think he cleaned up at the end with the hushed whispers and groans. When he lacks vocally his persona and style often make up for it. Overall it wasn't bad just kind of odd to hear him on this I'm so use to the original I guess.
