  • Comparing Ron Paul's views against the conventional political spectrum is an absurd mistake. The real political spectrum is freedom vs totalitarianism, not Romney vs Obama. You can't accept civil and moral liberty and reject economic liberty or vice versa, otherwise you lack a solid principle in your argument.

  • @TinyMcLarge don't people like you read? It was like three newsletters of thousands over 15 years. Besides harshly criticizing violent black racists and gangbangers is not racist. Nor is criticizing the system that made them socially dependent because we all know none of what he wrote is untrue. I remember when people thought there was going to be a race war or when the Bloods and Crips spread like a plague across the country or how freaked out AIDS made everyone.

  • Ok, I'll take Ron Paul at his word that he's an incompetent manager who lied to his subscribers by hiring some racist, antisemitic prick to write his newsletters and mailers for him, which he never bothered to read and that made him millions of dollars. Happens to everybody, right?

But why did he name his asshole son after that evil psychopath Ayn Rand??

And why does he support the Citizens United decision, allowing corporations to spend unlimited funds buying elections in secret??

  • @steolian because citizens united was about free speech. What do you care who he named his son after? We are all entitled to name our children which ever way we please. The only thing that packs punch is the incompetent manager. But guess what these instances occur on a daily basis, are you trying to tell me have never read articles that need to be retracted or companies that need to apologize for releasing uncouth statements? Search youtube "racist news cast haha"

  • @steolian Now you tell me does that make CNN racist? Does that make the newscaster racist? Someone in the staff obviously that it was funny and a joke to include that music, chances are they will get fired. Basically, CNN's course of action is the same as Ron Paul.

  • I'm not a Ron Paul fan, but this video seems pretty hackney. It was the Cain comparison at the end that really ticked me off. So Ron Paul is unelectable because he refuses to acknowledge crackpots and trivial babblers? I see that as a plus. If every politician dismissed idiocy like Ron Paul maybe we could actually have a meaningful conversation about policy.

  • Yeah, they're scared. The uphill battle here is getting people to see that ALL the other candidates represent only ONE party -- that of the NWO. The concept that there is an ORGANIZED movement to f&@k humanity over is TOO BIG for most people to wrap their head around. As they don't see it as ONE Leviathon about to swallow us up, they don't see Ron Paul as David going forth bravely to slay the giant. But that is what he is doing. Let's not start nitpicking about his failure to supervise well

  • @TinyMcLarge Thanks, Tiny, for this background on how the reports were published. I only know Paul from watching hundreds of youtubes this past year or so and reading articles under his actual byline. I feel I know how he "thinks and sounds." I have read excerpts of the offending newsletters and IT IS NOT RON PAUL's VOICE! I also have worked for Doctors for 40 years and can EASILY believe he had NO awareness of "the office stuff." I've seen brilliant people lose their shirts...

  • Damn the elite must be scared now . Allways sheap shots .But who cares about what they say , Ron Paul is the only sensible candidate US citizens got. The rest is puppets in strings controlled by the "elite" .

  • By your logic, The Bible, with it's Golden Rule & those stories about Jesus IS BAD -- because it also condones some of the most horrible crimes against humanity -- like Slavery, Genocide & Child Sacrifice. The authors who wrote those books held a wide array of opinions, just like those newsletters. At least Benji admitted that Ron Paul is "finally getting some serious coverage in the press"...yes, the concerted effort by the media clowns to discredit him is laughable (esp.in it's insincerity)

  • Imagine if CNN (communist news network) or any of the Presstitutes had asked >>Ron Paul<< about his Clearly Forged Birth Cert., or even his Origin of Birth, Faked Osama hit, All the More wars unauthorized by Congress, Crony Capitalism with Wall St pulling strings, the bigot so called "church" he was associated with for over 20 years, Holder's Fast and Furious Perjury with him complicit to subvert the 2nd Amendment, actions counter to the US Constitution that spell TREASON, and on and on?????

  • This is good because your ass holes pucker at the sight of A trure Patriot! any dunm ass can see through empty headed non thinking so called journalist....Ron Paul is the real deal and it scares you to death!

  • Yep, the Ron Paul machine is in full swing to protect Ron Paul's 'good' name on the internet. Too bad the elections are not being held on here.

  • If you look at Ron Paul in a larger view then most will see he is the best candidate in the republican field.

  • Here's some advice for Ron Paul.

Saying you never wrote the rancid newsletters that subscribers paid for IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Saying you never even read your own newsletters IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Saying you don't know who wrote your newsletters IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Pretending that your newsletters didn't earn you million$ IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

You're no longer in a retarded Texass district, you're running for President so you need step up your game and try being honest for a change.

  • @steoliass - My My My. " IS NOT ACCEPTABLE " Sorry amigo but a sophomoric rejection of a simple answer is infantile . Fortunately the majority of RP supporters are intelligent, articulate folks who are aware of his voting history and political philosophy. Most are familiar with the MSM's attempts to smear, exclude

and discount RP. Curious what motivates your objections ? RP states he would PARDON ALL BLACKS & whites convicted of nonviolent drug crimes. LOL you're quite the shill. : )

  • Whats more racist.

Ending the federal drug war and pardoning all non-violent offenders effectively nullifying the most institutionalized form of racism since segregation.

Or continuing to bomb little brown children all over the globe.

  • What's more racist. Letters Ron Paul didn't write, or our peace loving president allowing Al-CIA-DUH to commit black genocide in Libya.

    HMMMMM

  • Ron Paul didn't know his name was Ron Paul

  • Take your propaganda off here.

    RON PAUL 2012~!!~!!~!!

  • From the Libertarian Online Magazine: Reason Magazine

January 16, 2008, Reason Magazine, "Who Wrote Ron Paul's Newsletters?"

December 20, 2011, Reason Magazine, "Ron Paul's Foul Old Newsletters Back in the News"

  • Only a Kool-aid drinker could possibly buy Ron Paul's flimsy excuse that he didn't know what was being published under his name. He had run for office before and was planning to run for office again. How could he have spent so many years without reading or contributing to his own newsletter?

  • @Wintermute01001 Just shut up you fucking Zionist crackpot.

  • Ron Paul is racist = Obama is a Muslim terrorist from Kenya.

  • @studio7manga

    LOL

  • @studio7manga Did Obama sign his name on an article saying he's a Muslim terrorist from Kenya?

  • @ZuchinniOne how do you figure that?

Ron claims he never wrote or even read his own newsletters which were published in his offices in his name, making him millions of dollars over a period of 20 years and this for you constitutes a "thorough debunking"??

    Have some more koolaid.

  • This has been thoroughly debunked ... TPM you're better than this BS.

  • The more you learn about cult leader Dr. Ron, the more odious he looks.

A disciple of Ayn Rand and Milton Friedman, a John Bircher right-wing extremist, the candidate of white supremacists and neo-nazis, a dishonest panderer to racists and the Michigan Militia, a reactionary plutocrat opposed to every bit of progressive legislation ever passed, a liar, and a Texan.

    What is the attraction????

  • This is slander and someone should sue you for it.

  • There's a reason they use undefined words like "liberty" and "freedom," instead of actually defining what his policies are when they praise him. If they actually made his convictions clear, you'd never vote for him. That's the hook, right there. They're trying to trick you into voting against your own interests.

Libertarians are basically just conservatives. If you're a democrat or a liberal, don't buy into the Cult of Pau's hype. We shouldn't be made to vote for the lesser evil.

  • @Dipstikk

Libertarians use words like "liberty" and "freedom" because they're not honest enough to use words like "selfishness" and "greed".

  • @Dipstikk

"There's a reason they use undefined words like "liberty" and "freedom," "

Just like Obama used "hope" and "change" right?

Classic Liberalism and Libertarianism both have well established and very sound philosophical underpinnings to them. Information isn't hard to find, I suggest you educate yourself.

  • @studio7manga Oh, are you mistaking me for someone who gives a shit about Obama? For someone who would jump to his aid? That's precious.

I've learned all I need to on libertarian philosophy. It's nothing less than the conservative's. "Fuck y'all, got mine."

  • @Dipstikk

Wow, taking a whole philosophy and turning into a bumper sticker. Golf clap.

So what is your candidate/philosophy? I'll gladly destroy it.

  • @studio7manga What is that, the intellectual version of "come at me, bro?" Please.

  • @Dipstikk

I guess you just exhibited the intellectual version of I have no ideas of my own.

  • Beware the Cult of Paul. They are pitiless and brainwashed, ready to ravage anyone who dares deconstruct or denounce him.

People, these guys who keep promoting Ron Paul? They're the same as any other Tea Party member- brash, delusional and indoctrinated. You wouldn't vote for Herman Cain for having the same policies as Ron Paul, but you're suddenly ready to vote for him because he believes in TWO measly things that you agree with?

  • @Dipstikk Herman Cain didn't have the same policies as Ron Paul. What are you on about?

  • Look at all the "thumbs down" for Benji & the talking heads at TPM -- even the faceless internet can spot bogus propaganda from a mile away. You guys should team up with Rick Perry & make a few anti-gay PSA's together...you folks were made for each other!

    Ron Paul 1...Hack Journalists 0

  • @TruthJockey Yes, check out the obvious votebot attacks from the pitiful Ron Paul cultists. Nicely handled.

You clowns seek out and vote down EVERY video about Ron Paul with a negative slant to it. This isn't a surprise, and despite how you're attempting to spin it, this is not the "voice of the people. It's just you and your Cult of Paul brothers mashing the "dislike" button because you can't handle your messiah getting criticized for being the lying conservative fraud that he is.

  • @Dipstikk You should change your nickname to Dipshyte...it's much more fitting.

  • @TruthJockey The thumbs down are because the obsessive cult-like sheep followers that are Ron Paul's fan base can't accept the facts about their hero.

  • @zebbedi your an idiot. period.

  • @thid1 If you can't attack the point attack the man. Typical response from someone with nothing of substance to say.

  • @zebbedi i have plenty to say, zeb, but as i said, you're an idiot. read up on Dr. Paul's philosophy. then we'll have an adult conversation.

  • @thid1 Ok then by following your logic I'll declare that I have plenty to say and that you're an idiot. How constructive we are now.

I have read Dr Paul's philosophy, his racist newsletters encapsulate his beliefs perfectly.

  • @TruthJockey Could you please answer the points Benji raises?

  • O my, here comes the dislikes.

  • Screw Ronny Paul-Turd!!!

  • Keep Smearing ... we aint caring

The media didnt make Ron Paul .... and they cant break him

  • Wasn't that newsletter around for several years?

Are we to believe that he NEVER read it?

  • @rlaurencin01 If that's the case, do we really want someone who is that incompetent in the highest seat of the US government?

  • Racist screeds from a Republican politician. No one could have predicted.

  • Obama took the then-new executive powers of Bush/Cheney and proceeded to expand them...now our President even orders drone attacks against US citizens without ANY due process of law. No presentation of evidence, no defense attorney, not even a trial...the POTUS himself orders assassinations against his own people. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights are toast -- Gitmo is still open -- only the Wall Street One Percenters have seen the benefit of an Obama Administration. OBAMA...can't trust him

  • @TruthJockey Do you have proof of this. I wont hold my breath until you produce it. Get you head out of Limbaughs ass and get some fresh air like the rest of us.

  • @therealtruth31 take a moment & read a few articles by Glenn Greenwald or watch some of his interviews here on YT. Contact your local ACLU office & ask them about "Obama & Civil Liberties." Bush gave us warrant wiretapping & torture programs but Obama has INCREASED the power of the FBI/CIA/etc -- and cost of all this -- our freedoms! Obama already killed three people (that I know of) who were on the ASSASSINATION list -- all US citizens -- and one was only 16 yrs old. Look it up!

  • Cult leader Dr. Wrong is a filthy scumbag liar.

I could go on about him, his history, his fakery, his dishonesty, and his ridiculous opinions for pages but I'm confined to a brief YouTube comment.

    Repugnicans, PLEASE NOMINATE THIS SH*TBAG!

  • @steolian how colorful

  • Seriously, what if Obama had proffited off of a news letter of some kind that made racist comments about white people? Would we even be having this convo?

  • shitty frame up job. nice try linking him to that banker philanderer herman cain. shitty "news" channel.

  • Ron Paul has TPM this worked up? Good stuff.

  • @wrxbungle Keep scraping, Benjy.

  • Ron Paul has answered this a million times now. To continue dragging it up is to buy in to the media smear campaign and nothing more.

  • @TMOvids It's not a smear campaign if truth is being told. Ron Pau land his fans want to avoid the subject because it reveals an uncomfortable truth about him. He is either racist, was racist or allowed racist things to be written in his name for political gain. If not then he is too stupid to be POTUS because he can't even check a newsletter.

  • @zebbedi If I write things under your name, is it justified for you to be constantly hounded about it 20 years later?

  • @TMOvids If I'm running for POTUS most certainly YES. A resounding YES. You should have a bit more respect for your country's top political office.

It wouldn't happen to me though. If I'm running a campaign you can be damn sure I'm checking the newsletters or I will hire somebody to check and I would be passing questions on to that person if mistakes like this happen.

  • @zebbedi Well, if you waste all your time on playing sherlock holmes in insignificant matters from 20 years ago, then I will bet you anything your campaign for president won't go anywhere.

  • @TMOvids If you consider racism insignificant then you are probably a racist too.

  • @zebbedi I don't consider it insignificant. I do consider someone else's writings from 20 years ago to be insignificant though. If you start a blog with my name saying racist and homophobic things, and whatever else, then within 1 year I wouldn't care. Within 20 years it would be flat out ridiculous to even suggest that's important.

  • @TMOvids So you think if someone wrote or allowed racist things to be wrote in their name 20 years ago while in political office or pursuing political office that it's not relevant to them in the present day as a serious candidate for the TOP political office?

Sorry but you need your head examining.

  • @zebbedi Correct. If I wrote things under your name now, then in 20 years time you wouldn't bother going all detective to find out who I am. You'd just let everyone know it wasn't you, and move on with the campaign. That's exactly what Paul's done.

  • @TMOvids and if you were running for local office that would be more than enough. running for POTUS is a different game.

  • @TheSilverpotato True. If I was running for POTUS, I'd want to spend as little time as possible on irrelevant distractions like this.

  • @zebbedi there are no races, only individuals.

  • @wrxbungle :)

  • @zebbedi Don't get me wrong, I'm a libertarian and Ron Paul supporter. But if this is the only tarnish on his record vs. all of the other derptards running against him, he still has my vote.

  • @wrxbungle regardless, :)

  • @TMOvids If I hired you to write things in my name and I was now campaigning to be POTUS then yes of course.

  • @zebbedi Do you know if that's how the company was set up?

  • @TMOvids What company?

  • @zebbedi well, organisation, whatever.

  • So militias are a bad thing? If so, we're all in trouble, cause by U.S. codes (also quoted many times by the founding fathers), we all are the militia, every single one of us, whether you know it or not, active or not...unless you hold office within the government, be it local, county or Federal or are a part of the U.S. military...must be why the government hates us and puts out propaganda demonizing the militias. The writing is on the wall, but sadly, most can not read.

  • Ron Paul for President 2012. If the Soviet Socialists and Fabian Socialists don't like him then he's gotta be good. Example of other "great" Globo scam election art. George Bush Pushes NAFTA/GATT, Clinton runs on"A vote for Bill is a vote AGAINST NAFTA/GATT". The Clintonistas get in and Bill signs NAFTA/GATT into law. :) The "I wants" sucking off my wallet don't like Ron Paul because they are the problem. The rest of the Republicrats and Demicans are all sellout/handout as usual crud. MGK/GDW!

  • I predict a surge in the polls for RP. Now that the conservative right wing nuts know that he's a real republican he might have a real shot.

  • Boy do I miss the days when tpm was worth subscribing to.

  • Who really thinks Ron Paul is a racist. I contend the people who are pressing this issue know better, but have an agenda to serve.

  • ron paul is not racist, and people who vote for him are not racist. ghostwriters are common and unfortunate. principled libertarians like paul are some of the most reasonable, anti-racist people there are. just look at his arguments for ending the death penalty and the war on drugs. look at his foreign policy stances. for example, he is against profiling muslims and BOMBING THE SHIT OUT OF THEIR COUNTRIES FOR 40+ YEARS. Realize Ron Paul is the only Anti-War candidate running for president.

  • Ron Paul is the messiah to his fans. It's more than liking his policies (which are a mix of reasonable and crazy). For many of his fans, he can do no wrong. No matter what, they have an excuse for him.

Well, libertarians in general don't exactly have all their screws tightened down securely. They can be rational one minute and completely batshit crazy the next. Admittedly, that's an improvement from most Republicans these days, who are batshit crazy ALL the time.

  • @Willam2 Nobody's making excuses bill. We don't need to. We know he's not racist. It's the GOP schill's like you that believe a newsletter with racist rants is proof that Ron Paul is racist. Can you even name one politician better then Ron Paul? Got any other proof besides this weak sauce that might actually prove what your saying is true? Facts usually come from reputable references/sources, not from your anus, you can expect nothing but shit to come out of it....

  • @Arperture2008 It's not just "a newsletter with racist rants" it's the RON PAUL NEWSLETTER WITH RACIST RANTS. How fucking disconnected are you from reality to not think that's detrimental to a campaign? I can name PLENTY of politicians better than (not then, as you said) Ron Paul. Bernie Sanders immediately comes to mind.

  • @Beannaich I'm not comparing Ron Paul to anyone so my "then" statement is correct, I was sating a fact about a person in question. I didn't say Ron Paul is better than Newt. I was using an "at the time in question" argument. It's called a dictionary, look up the word next time before you try to make yourself look like some literary major in a forum of comments to try and make people look bad. Even Google defines words, and its only one click away in most browsers you lazy cunt..

  • @Arperture2008 "Can you even name one politician better then Ron Paul?"

Now see, that is supposed to be "than". Next time you call someone a lazy cunt for not doing research on basic words, you might want to find out what those words actually mean. Lest you make an ass of yourself. I also never even mentioned Newt Gingrich in my original post, and I think he is detestable. You have no argument, fuck off Paul-tard. Your savior is a fuck-ass.

  • @Beannaich GTFO fuck yourself and tell your mother to, too.

Only a self bias confirming son of a nasty whore would gargle out that "do your own research" stupidity, over a 20-year old debunked pile of bullshit.

Just as it was debunked time and time again in the past, and all little retards inevitably had to scamper back into their cockroach holes emptyhanded in embarrassment over this, as they will again this time. You'll be back to biting your lower lip & beating your arm against your chest.

  • I submit that my fellow man should consider, and by that i mean read, the effects of media on our thinking--Marshall McLuhan, Neil Postman, etc. Visual media is a bad method to electing political leaders. As for Ron Paul being associated with racism--I go by what the man "approves" as his message not in mistakes he made in licensing out his name to a newsletter. I've made mistakes and I'm OK with Ron Paul being a human being and respect him for admitting his errs; he is attacked on this yearly.

  • he's the only candidate with the balls to stand up to the federal reserve, the military industrial complex, the patriot act, the massive overspending, the erosion of our civil liberties, the tax code, the corruption, the lobbyists, his voting record is immaculate, and stands alone as the one member of congress who upholds his oath to defend the constitution. yeah, let's write him of because someone who isn't Ron Paul wrote some racist shit that Ron Paul doesn't agree with. pretty fucking logical

  • who cares hes still the most viable candidate

  • Comment removed

  • this is not journalism. oh yeah, you're not trying to be journalists.

  • GOP Throw another member of the GOP under the bus when they become more popular then the one they want to run.....Surely you jest? I am sure if god forbid Michelle Bachmann got more popular then we would be seeing every news outlet running her idiotic fact missteps. It is just the way this game is played

  • Really wish the person who did write them (Lew Rockwell) would just come out and say it. Ignoring that...

the US is in 15 trillion dollars of debt, w/ a dollar that has dropped 98% since the enactment of the Federal Reserve and in an endless war against an IDEOLOGY and this the kind of bullshit you come up with to describe his campaign??

  • Ron Paul 2012

    This is classic mudslinging.

  • @katey1dog

    its called "the truth"

  • really not hard to put two and two together that regardless of the fact that whites are the majority and receive the lion's share of govt dole, his motivation for ending ALL anti poverty programs is because he believes in the stereotype that the majority receiving welfare benefits are non whites...he wants to further undermine their efforts to go up the totem pole by legalizing the very drug that put them in poverty, adding insult to injury.

  • Bye bye Paul ...

  • Free market = more jobs to china

Cutting estate tax = helps people with rich parents

Cutting capital gains tax = helps rich people

Cutting social programs = hurts everyone but the rich

  • @wafflethug And if I might add

States' rights = giving moralists & bigots free reign

  • Explain the logic that would support that he wrote them.

Either you believe he's a racist, based on the letters, or you believe what he has said on record for his entire life. You pick.

The idea that he could philosophically support a racist methodology AND individual rights is asinine.

This isn't the 1700's, logic prevails for the most part nowadays.

  • Let the smear campaign begin... IF he actually wrote it then fine he's a racist. I still agree with most of his CURRENT ideals. As a black male in america it's crazy to believe that Newt - Rick, or Michele don't think in similar ways behind closed doors. Mitt's a mormon - the religion believes blacks are cursed!!!

As Malcolm X once said... "I have more respect for a man who tells me where he stands, even if he's wrong, than one who pretends to be an angel and is nothing but a DEVIL."

  • He didn't write the articles and once those that were using Ron Paul's name were found out as doing this crap, Ron Paul cut ties with them and disavowed the news letters.

If no one has ever misused your name in a business situation then you are either very fortunate or not worth misquoting.

  • @snarfeater

    Heh, seriously?

Right wing political hitmen brought down Van Jones because he once signed a petition without reading it carefully enough to find out it was sponsored by some dumbass group that believes 9-11 was an inside job. Do you really think Paul's competition are going to let him skate on claiming he didn't read half a dozen racist articles that were ghost authored for his newsletter before publishing them in his name?

Not gonna happen. Real world politics.

  • @TrollBuster9090 you are right

  • @snarfeater He published them on his own and made money off them.

  • @JobDDT then he is responsible

  • Glad to see the downvoter brigade out in full force. Hell hath no fury like a Paultard scorned...

  • @yersi what? i can't hear you... there's a dick in your mouth

  • I was taught by a doctor that HIV can be transmitted through HEAVY kissing, sometimes the mouth bleeds a little when making out hardcore. And of course it can come from oral sex, the human fluids that are excreted when you are aroused carry the virus. But anyway, he has his facts mixed up here...you can't get it from say someone spitting or sneezing or even toilet seats...well unless someone was being nasty in there...

  • @KageNekoSekusu What you said is all basically true, though for most the risk is negligible. Brushing your teeth, but especially flossing your teeth just before swapping spit (ie heavy kissing) or swapping other bodily fluids (use your imagination) is a risk because the brushing & flossing creates open wounds in your mouth (micro-lesions in your gums). BUT if you're kissing your mate so hard, you're making their mouths bleed, you are most definitely doing something wrong. Ouch.

  • This is old news. RP admits that those old newsletters contain racism, and he claims that he didn't write them, and didn't read them. While the 'not reading them' part is a little hard to believe, what's really interesting about this is that he claims he doesn't remember WHO DID. Rumor was that it was Llew Rockwell, who is still a huge libertarian hero, and champion of the Austrian School economics followers. Runs the von Mises website etc.

  • @TrollBuster9090 allot of them are rascists

  • Calling the guy who said he would issue a blanket pardon on all non violent drug offenders racist.... Values check.

  • RACIST FCKEN PIG ... WORTHLES MAN INDEED ... RIGH WINGNUT

  • comparing him to a rapist is delusional

  • Ron Paul is a right wing nut just like all the Republican candidates. Just because he hates Israel is no reason to vote for him. Fuck I hate giving billions of free money to a fascist state like Israel and I still would never vote for a crazy nut like Paul. The guy is so capitalistic that he believes people should die if they can't afford health care and he calls himself a Christian. He also believes if corporations poison you or pollute the environment well thats just the free markets. Crazy.

  • @star50ify

You're claiming a OBGYN who was a flight surgeon in Nam and worked at a charitable hospital for .70 cents a hour for 20 plus years wants people to die from inability to pay?

    Values check.

  • @star50ify do you really believe everything you hear? sad... do some homework, retard.

  • I'm British and I've only just learned over the past few months that the reason all ron paul videos have so many thumbs up is because his supporters never like to admit hes wrong, he could kill a puppy and they would say that its a statement of how truthful he is...its a lesson everyone has to learn

  • @GarveysBrother your naive. "past few months" proves you know very little about the ron paul camp. I'm a ron paul supporter and i disagree with him on lots of things. the guy as far as im concerned is about 72% right on everything, the remainder... not so much. for instance i support his foreign policy, it's about time we reject the Truman doctrine, soviet communism is dead, we don't need 200+ military bases around the world, but i don't support his want to de-fund the UN

  • @KlingonSpider so do you agree about his libertarian economic, which gives more power to corporation and their lobby powers, the abolishment of the Dept of education center, and healthcare based on charity hospitals like most african nations.

  • @GarveysBrother re: "he could kill a puppy..." Saturday Night Live eviscerated Ron Paul in a comedy bit just on that concept. Basically it relayed how non-interventionist he is, saying he wouldn't even call the fire department if he saw a building was burning. The moderator asked, what if it was a pet store and there were puppies looking at you through the window with their puppy dog eyes, whimpering. Needless to say, Ronbots did not find the bit humorous; I laughed my ass off.

  • @GarveysBrother Well said mate. I'm British too but I live in the U.S and I know many RP fans personally. They are exactly as you describe.

  • This show (TPM) was better when it had no "commentaries", just show us the news fast & we will decide whats is the msm's real agenda, OK.

  • Actually his son got money from lobbyists... on the other hand, I kind of like a bit Ron Paul for some of the stuffs he stands for. I wish he was more for a public option, SS, medicare, medicaid but he is not. He is for the "free market", another word for corporations. But I love his view on the wars and liberty such as Internet freedom. He is a mixed bag for me but still better than corrupt Obama at this time.

  • @yes4me some of the stuff but dig deeper honey!!! You will be shocked

  • @yes4me What about his other radical right ideas? Like gold standard, abolishing income tax, flat tax, abolishion of separation of church and state, disregard of roe v wade, end to welfare, FEMA, and ect ect ect.

  • Paul's libertarian ideology is a smokescreen. An excuse. He can have his cake and eat it too by saying it's none of the federal governments business if Alabama wants to segregate schools, or if Mississippi doesn't want blacks drinking from white-only water fountains. He's found the perfect platform for cowardly sidestepping his racist talking points while still implementing them as law.

  • Will he be alive in 2012?

  • Uh oh tpm! You've attacked the sacred cow. Prepare to be thumbed down.

  • @TPMTV Ron Paul's message has nothing to do with racism. His message is the total opposite. This is just as bad as running a slanderous story about his belief in god. And your actually trying to convince conservatives who usually tend to believe in god that his belief in god is a bad thing. Same thing with racism. Allot of conservatives, just happen to be racist. So don't you think this propaganda is actually going to backfire?

  • @Arperture2008 Ohhhh your not a racist if you believe in God, I got it. I am going to go and hate some blacks now and say its part of my religion. Gotcha.

  • @Arperture2008 Ron Paul along with his son said himself he would have been againist the civil rights act. His excuse as to why is bs imo.

  • I saw the interview he DID fumble his words because he doesn't have a defense for them. What Paultards refuse to hear is that he did not write SOME of them.

  • @KingKaio liar he did not say SOME of them the best you can do is say he is responsible because his name is on it thats all

  • Wao talk about smear campaing, then you go and a bit of your smear. tpm in 100 seconds i will vote this video thumbs Down.

  • Ron Paul did not have time to write, print, or distribute this newsletter. Think about it people. He can't control what people are saying all the time. People like him hire/recruit people who specialize in this sort of work and sometimes the message gets tainted by people who are paid to make people like him look bad. Like campaign volunteers, supporters, or disgruntled employees.

  • @Arperture2008 I call BS on that. How can Ron Paul not know who he hired to write things about what he believes in? Makes no sense. He knew. Otherwise hes an idiot.

  • @Arperture2008 He may not have wrote it but he did allowed them to use his name. It was his responsibility to make sure that the organization using his name were writing on views he agreed with. He should admit he made a mistake, he should of reviewed more of what was written and regrets letting this newsletter use his name. Than the media would have nothing to talk about. Don't make excuses for him.

  • @texkit1 So you think he should pander with MSM? What excuse am I making for him? What mistake does he need to apologize for? Usually when someone makes a mistake that means they did something wrong. He did nothing wrong. No need to apologize here. The liberal media and neocons are using old news. This has already been covered. How many times does he need to rehash it? Should Abraham Lincoln's newsletter be put into the same class? After all he's not around to dictate what people say..

  • @Arperture2008 The reason the media is jumping on this is because he is changing his answers or has weak answers or walks out. Ron Paul wouldn't have to keep rehashing it if he just gave strong direct answers. It was a mistake to lend your name to a racist newsletter when you say your not a racist. It was also a mistake to actual write in a racist newsletter if you don't want others to see your not racist.

  • @texkit1 This is weak sauce and you know it. Now if he released an official statement or some video of him saying racist shit then by all means call him a racist, saying he's a racist because he believes other people have the right to say what they want is a load of bullshit. And pandering to MSM is not in his nature. This is like saying I'm not gonna vote for Ron Paul because he believes in god. Your propaganda that you love is nothing but weak sauce.

  • @Arperture2008 Ron Paul core belief that he talks on is personal responsibility. It was his responsibility to make sure a newsletter with his name on it held true to his morals & beliefs. From what I have seen from Ron Paul, he is tired of hearing excuses. You say & do what you mean. You stand by your principles. If he wasn't racist than he should of pulled his name from the newsletter. It is an excuse to say I was too busy to read it...when he did have time to write in it.

  • @texkit1 He's not going to pander, end of story. It was done and they're was nothing he could do to retract the letter back in the day because it was already in circulation. Is it really that hard for you to understand that? It was already in the hands of people who subscribed to it. And he has come out against it in the past and now in the future..

  • @Arperture2008 It's not pandering, it's taking responsibility for your actions. Our actions & choices can have consequences. When you have your name on a racist newsletter that ran for years, there will be questions as a candidate running for president. Media keeps going on about it because he is not giving direct answers & he is now a front runner in Iowa.

I know it is the past but Ron Paul keeps bringing up the past of Newt & Mitt in his political commercials.

  • hahaha back fire! back fire! right on your face tpm!!!! it seems everybody can tell you are the stablishment, ron paul 2012!!!

  • Ron Paul 2012!!
