  • Yo I'm a Republican but I'm not exactly sure what he's referring to?

  • @zzyzybynsky

He allegedly sexually harassed annita hill. He is not intelligent enough or either he was too embarassed to defend himself.

  • This was not a high tech lynching and mr. thomas you dont think for yourself. Seeing how you never said a word during a debate in 5 years and only vote for right wing policies, I highly doubt your even thinking at all.

  • The fascist liberals who didn't want Clarence Thomas or Thurgood Marshall as SUpreme Court justices played the race card when it came to Sonia Sotomayor.

  • You tell those idiots Clarence. Tell them that your Kow Towing won't start until you are confirmed.

  • Don't cry racism now. Remember, THERE IS NO RACISM, remember. Most people these days, see past race. We are a post-racial world. People are not attacked because of race anymore, remember. I believe the Neo-Cons have been saying that bullshit for awhile now, RIGHT? As whites we have used that to brow beat blacks for quite awhile. But of course all that goes out the window when a "schucking and cooning, Uncle Tom has HIS OWN dirt thrown on him in order to, no doubt benefit Dem/Liberals. Ironic?

  • @bapyou, the weasel Lib...

The Voting Rights Act (1965 btw)

    Senate: 77–19

    * Democrats: 47–17 (73%-27%)

    * Republicans: 30–2 (94%-6%)

    House: 333–85

    * Democrats: 221–61 (78%-22%)

     * Republicans: 112–24 (82%-18%)

That makes Republicans the majority vote, dickhead.

Since 1933 over 80% of major civil rights votes were opposed by a majority of Democrats, and consequently, favored by 96% of Republicans. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican as well as most blacks at that time.

  • @MediaMayhem "That makes Republicans the majority vote" By percentages only. Looking at the absolute numbers, if they're correct and not faked, I see 17% more Democratic votes in the Senate and 26% greater votes by Democrats in the House. So it is all in how you present the numbers, my friend.

And don't forget the VRA was the greatest gift to nut-ass Republigoofs like yourself: It's the reason they're so many red states in the South today. So thank that Democrat majority vote in 1965.

  • Furthermore, MLK was a Republican? Yeah? And how 'bout, on that weekend before health care was passed & all those Republican Conservative tea-baggers calling those black Congressman nigger on the streets of Washington? What that a great display of love for your fellow Americans. And what about all those red-staters who, a year and a half later, still can't get over the fact that there's a "nigger family" in the Whitehouse? How come we don't see some of that good old racism for Clarence Thomas?

  • @bapyou, slop-mouthed racist.

There's no need to use that language here, big mouth. It's always apparent to me that those who cry wolf as loud as you are usually the perpetrators of their own alleged grievances. I've never heard or read that sort of garbage which you're full of; your deep-seeded malady. Be gone and go back to the chorus of lying self-righteous Lefties.

  • @MediaMayhem "There's no need to use that language here" What language? The word "nigger"? That's not me using that language, smallnuts, that is me quoting your fellow conservartive Republican/Conservative/teabagger whackos who sit around drinking in the Becky Glenn, BIll O'Assfuck version of reality. Don't like that kind of language? I doubt it. But if so, I suggest you get a grip on the morons on your side of the political divide, because they live, breathe, & propagate racism constantly.

  • @bapyou Martin Luther King I hate to tell you was a Republican. Perhaps you should go back in the history books and find out why he supported JFK> Robert Kennedy promised MLK he would be freed from prison if he would support his brother for PRESIDENT. Now, who put MLK in jail? A Democratic Govenor. Perhaps you are merely misguided, or a typical lying leftist. I'll just hope that you were misguided, because a lying leftist is all too common!

  • @SuperGuitarman69 MLK a Republican? And this means what? That he'd stand today alongside ignorant morons like youself and the Teabag Dopes of America?

    ______

One of my favorite quotes from Dr King:

"There is no force more violent, more depraved, more full of hatred on the face of the Earth today than the United States of America."

Fit that into your agenda, dope.

  • @bapyou Remember that party where Dr. King said that people should not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character? I guess you black supremacist bastards forgot that part. You are the moron. You defend Charlie Rangel and other racebaiters from the Black Supremacist Caucus. You play the race card like the little bitch you are. And you still defend Tawana Brawley.

  • @bapyou You are one of 2 things that all liberal leftists are. Either, 1 you are indoctrinated. Usually this happens in college. When minds are as stupid as they get. If you carry the same beliefs years after college? You have a mental disorder. 2 You are simpleminded and do not understand complex things. That is about 75% of the Democratic voters

  • @SuperGuitarman69 "You are one of 2 things ... 1 you are indoctrinated" ___ Whoa man! A little bit of projection? Hmm? Those people at Fox News are NOT into indoctrination, are they? OF COURSE NOT!! ____ Keep your hands off my profits!! Or else!! ____ Fascism: It's what's for dinner! ___ All hail the Empire. Or else! ____ "Patriotism is nothing more than the organized group interests of the privileged class." — Bakunin Cheers worthless fuck!
  • @bapyou No they are for limited government and freedom. The constitution. Remember that? We are a Republic? Do you know why or what that is? Do you even know what fascism is? Check out America, The Republic. Go ahead. I DARE YOU TO POST ANYTHING AFTER YOU ARE EDUCATED ON THAT SITE! I think you're chicken. The people that subscribe to LibertyPen? Are the most intellegent out there. They will eat you alive!!!!

  • @bapyou Typical Democrat. You need to invent racism for sympathy. I guess you didn't learn from the Duke lacrosse rape hoax.

  • @MediaMayhem Yes in the 1950's and early 1960's before JFK was shot their were politians called Dixiecrats. After 1963 with the signing of the Civil Rights Act by Democrate LBJ and first thought up by JFK the south became majority republican

  • Why do some blacks even vote for republicans? All republicans have ever done for blacks is free slaves, remove Jim Crowe laws, use the military to de-segregate schools and appoint the first ever black supreme court justice and secretary of state.

  • @andro89 "All republicans have ever done for blacks .. "

Ya left out that they voted against the Voting Rights Act of 1964 andro! That was sure something!

Also, in the present day, you've got these geniuses at the tea parties who never miss a chance to call Obama "a nigger." Ain't life just one big grand old party? That's what I always say.

    Happy Fourth of July.

  • I think this is a legitimate response to the attacks against him. For sake of politics, specifically debunking a nomination, this committee has made some very serious accusations that just aren't going anywhere except to smear his integrity. They aren't doing this out of concern for their country, but rather to discredit a justice who would vote conservatively once appointed to the court.

  • Justice Thomas handed those smug, hypocritical bastards their heads. Bravo!

  • @irishmermaid4

So Anita Hill, a law professor, testifies she was sexually harassed, the day before & even though she is a black woman & law professor whose integrity was impugned by good-ol-boy questioning that implied it wasn't harassment since she didn't have sex w/him, that's just fine. & it's okay that Angela Wright also submitted a written statement alleging similar behavior. Sukari Hardnett, as well.

Yeh, it's just so "sumg" to question him the next day, isn't it.

  • Liberals, conservatives, republicans, democrats, no matter what you want to call each other you're both the same and this back and forth partisan bull shit is what's ruining this country!

  • I have been following politics closely for almost 25 years and I have never enjoyed a sweeter moment when someone shoved it in the Democrats' hypocrtical faces so beautifully. To all those who tried to destroy Clarence Thomas, you lost, we won. Almost 20 years later he is still a reliable conservative vote on the Supreme Court. Up your asses with a red hot poker.

  • @jpsmhs

And you'd probably tell Anita Hill about your johnson too if she were working for you.

  • @jpsmhs

Your right, he knows his place. Just like every little schucking and jiving house Negro should act. Just sit there boy and be quiet (3 years worth of silence). The Repubs saved him, and he has shown his gratitude by being the perfect little monkey. Massa is so proud. Well if more blacks would act as he has, they may actually become full citizens one day. Right?

  • Back then, I was with those fighting against his nomination. However, in viewing ALL of the audios and tapes (not just YOU TUBE) but archival, the Judge was subject to a high tech lynching--no doubt.

Then---to look at the smug and hypocritical likes of Kennedy--with all of his womanizing--as well as two others on that committee--well, it must have been tough for C Thomas to hold his comments.Anywa--justice was served.

I'm glad to see that two liberal/center Dems voted for him!!

  • @km2711

So you saw when it wasn't only Anita Hill who had claimed she'd been sexually harassed? And that the line of questioning that SHE had to undergo implied that since she hadn't been raped or actually had been forced to have sex with him, it was joking.

Disgusting. I hope you're heading for retirement soon because no business - big or small - should have someone like you in it.

  • The dems got completely OWNED!!!!! Hahahahahah

  • this is FANTASTIC

  • Playing the race card?

  • no the irony that biden and napolitano tried to block Justice Thomas from entering the Supreme Court and now: Justice Thomas called conference on Obama

  • "and now: Justice Thomas called conference on Obama"...... I dont know what that means...can you send me a video on this?

  • @ADFX21

Yes, it is - pure fantasy. Since Anita Hill - the woman who was testifying that she'd been sexually harassed - is also black.

  • How is scuttling a nomination lynching? Doesn't lynching involve murdering someone?

I agree that neither Democrat or Republican are without blood on their hands, but why the fear-mongering?

  • "It is a high-tech lynching."

Justice Thomas was using the word lynching metaphorically, just as you said, "without blood on their hands". That's called a metaphor. And I think it was apropos.

The real fear mongering kicks in when the Left speak about another possible Conservative Supreme Court judge, or Conservative judges altogether.

  • Look I'm an independent, but worrying about a Conservative Supreme Court (that would likely overturn Roe v Wade) is a legitimate issue for some. It's not fear-mongering.

This terrorist, marxist, muslim, socialist, communist, arab, "Who is he?" shit is definitely fear-mongering. I refuse to vote based on fear, and that's one of the many reasons I'm voting Obama this time around.

  • Is being worrisome over a Left leaning Supreme Court not legitimate then? But that was not the issue here... you're trying to legitimize the behavior and acts of the Left unfairly maligning Thomas.

If we could apply the same background of Obama and comments made over time by Obama to McCain, do you honestly believe he would be received in the same manner as Obama? Birds of a feather flock together. But now He "loves this country", right?

  • good job, you've effectively propagandized the story by briefly presenting only one, unsubstantiated side of it. Goebbels would be proud.

  • Yep, the Republicans are just now catching up with the leftists on doing that. To Clarence, I say "here, here"

  • Another side? Please. Nancy Pelosi's dismal national approval rating is higher than any quantifiable level of credibility on Anita Hill's part.

  • When did he cop to that exactly? Can't help but lie can you, I guess it is just reflexive at this point.

  • "I'm an independent, but worrying about a Conservative Supreme Court (that would likely overturn Roe v Wade)"

That's kind of a strange or silly fear, in my opinion. It's just one of those crazy things left-wing politicians and organizations like to throw out to scare people.

Even if R v Wade was overturned (unlikely) it wouldn't ban abortion. All polling shows people are pro choice. Legislation protecting it would rapidly pass in most areas.

  • I would rather advocate a constitutionalist leaning supreme court, if the court reviews roe v. wade and deems it unconstitutional, so be it. remember, they were questioning thomas on an accusation of a disgruntled former employee of thomas about sexual harrassment, this wasn't simply scuttling a nomination.

  • the "disgruntled former employee" was a leftist plant, because an uppity black is just as good as a slave to a leftist. There was no case. Its more than "scuttling" a nomination.

  • No...no she wasn't and yes, he later copped to it.

Didn't the republicans go after Clinton for a blowjob... hypocrits.

  • So there is no difference? Honestly, and be honest here, you think these are the same? Cmon' man. One was allegations in the eleventh hour of a court nomination, and the other was the freaking President of the United States, who in fact was caught in the lie. The man sat on television and looked all of us in the eye and lied to our faces. Look, I didn't mind Clinton that much,he was a decent President in an uneventful time. But, these are not the same thing, don't whitewash it, it's dishonest.

  • They went after him for lying to the people. Liberal moron.

  • In this case it wasn't simply a sex scandle (unlike in the case of clinton) there was a question of his respect for women, and how it would affect his judgement in certain cases.

Don't distort the history. Besides, the guy got in. What more do you want?

  • Your a progressive idiot.

  • People who never learned the difference between your and you're have no business calling anyone but themselves an idiot.

  • I think when you keep the Anita Hill play in mind, it was a political lynching. The fear-mongering was there. Imagine how afraid Clarence Thomas felt. His reputation was being falsely destroyed at the most crucial moment of his life.

  • I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS CLIP..

I RECALL VIVIDLY TED KENNEDY HIDING LIKE A SCARED SHEEP FOR MOST OF THE HEARING PERIOD...AS HIS DALLIANCES WITH WOMEN PUT HIM IN NO POSITION TO QUESTION THOMAS ON ANY OF THIS...

The Left is a disgrace ..

  • The liberal media establishment and it's co-horts in the Democratic Party have always tried to destroy people who threaten their world-view.

    See Robert Bork.

    See Clarence Thomas.

    See Governor Palin

  • so... the left is very happy lynchng a black when if suits there purpose... good luck Obama/Biden

  • whats this from?

  • Clarence Thomas before the Senate Judiciary Committee in 1991 during which the Left thought they were going to scuttle his nomination to the Supreme Court.
