@ellampl48. As far as I know the murderers are in the Tenn. State Prison. I don't believe they were sentened to death but I hope someday they'll BURN in hell. Robbery and murder of an innocent man and his wife like this prooves what an evil world we live in.
There is only one Stringbean !! A delight to watch as an entertainer. Someone should put together a 60 minute doco on him, a la Bill Monroe. Any / all footage of him in action would be scooped up. His influence will last on & on - a legend. This song .. sounds like the basis for his Hee-Haw convulsion called " Me & My Old Crow". Or was it the other way around. Which version came first - can anyone please advise .. (please).
