Dawn of the dead is Romeros best movie. Day of the dead wasn't really good. It was boring and they didin't show much of zombie killing. It;s just people sitting in some military place talking and a doctor training a zombie.

Diary of the Dead I liked a lot. Land of the Dead I do agree is the worst BUT I love all of them.

I'm considering the Millenium Edition, or the Dimesion/Weinstein Edition.

I think I'll buy the DVD Ultimate Edition of Dawn, for the 3 different versions, and all the special features+special features.

I peronsaly think that it will last a while. People now like to save money as much as possible and DVDs are cheaper than blu-rays. But then we also must look at the way VHSs were against dvds. In 1997, People didn't like dvds, because they where more expinsive than VHSs. finaly, in (I belive, correct me if I'm wrong) 2004, they stopped making VHS tapes. That's a seven year difference. I think DVDs have 7-9 years to go.

well, while I thought the actors gave good performaces, I felt the over all film moved slow, I'm not sure what the problem here is.

No problem, it's just that it's generally accepted that the performances in NotLD are pretty weak. And as for the pacing, I'm constantly on the edge of my seat when watching the film. But no problem with your review. I love everything Romero does.

Great Updates! I only have about 30 Blu Rays right now and have noticed not all Blu Ray pictures are all that gr8....CARS is one of the best I've seen so far.....
