Ha ha, my dad's got one of those knives. I'm not sure if they still have them but the WWII versions had a special groove type thing near the base of the blade for cutting off ears. my point here is that the men who joined the gurkha unit are from various ethnic group of nepal namely magar, gurung, rai and limbu. these 4 ethnic group are all Mongoloid race. Mongoloid race are people who are yellow skin, little body and facial hair, chinky eyes. Some of the Mongoloid people are chinese, korean, japanese, vietnamese, etc.

Well such episodes are even more when the Indian army was struggling up in the hills against China in 1962 where mostly regiment was from Rajputana and Punjab it was the Gurkhas who made Chinese pull back. The times you are refering was with swords and shields and the Gurkha im mensioning defeated 40 taliban with a single rifle and hand grenade which is saying much for a modern warfare.

At the battle of Longewala in 1971 where sikhs and Rajputanas held of 3000 pakistanis while they were 120 led by a sikh major. Who also got all the praise, but a ordinary sikh soldier mensioned the 4 Gurkhas who had command on the only 2 anti tank guns who managed to destroy 48 tanks out of 65 which led to huge casaulties among pakistanis and secured Indian victory. The Gurkhas were later martyred but made Kuldeep singhs life easier.

sikhs do whats best for humanity.we dont kill for fun and we aint scared to die.we try to aviod battles but when violent action is needed we do it.sikhs are saint soldiers not ruthless killers.we have god so death dousent scare us.we only show loyalty to god and if we are not crossed and cheated and attacked we do not betray.what do you mean by betray if a nation attacks your peaple what do you do just stand there or do the right thing.look at natzi germany should have the jews stayed loyal?

@sabaton1231 yeah feel sorry for the gurkha who may face a court marshall....he was ordered to kill or capture a high class target so they went in there and killed him but he was also ordered to bring proof that he had killed the target so he tried to bring the body whist under heavy fire,which was impossible so not having a camera....obviously too expensive for our army these days....... he chopped his head off !!!!!!!
