Some toning exercises (like squats,cruches,lunges), 5 days a week, for no less than 30 mins should be enough to get you where you want to be. Janet Jackson lost 60lbs in 4 months (but she also had a diet plan), so losing 10-30lbs shouldn't take as long and you'll feel really fit afterwards :)
