  • The power is directly from the wall power supply 6V 1A . The screen does have a more noticeable power then before because it is not going thought the electronics.

  • i might just try that, i noticed the stock board can make the screen go back and forth forever if it jams on return.. your hack inspired me to build my own board with a microcontroller and relays to take care of that. thanks

  • I gutted the whole thing when I did this their are buttons on each end of the screen track that are used for the mainboard. You could use those with your microcontroller.
