The problem with wanting to be unique is that it is based on the belief that you are NOT special: it's a compensation for that perception. Fours represent the middle child who is seeking the attention of his parents for his individuality. Seeking to be unique blinds to what we have in common; the spiritual-moral sense of oneness and equality. In it's focus on the unusual the demonstration of uniqueness takes on an alienated, narcissistic-elitist tone. Extreme individualism is morally evil.
Nothing really if it is not causing any undue problems. The point is just to be aware of this tendency if you are a four for example. And if we are more conscious of our tendencies we can hold them more lightly and compassionately and thus wake up and live a more aware and beautiful life. Great question. :)
