@sbgitana1 You can just Google colour wheel and click on the images, you should find one. It's the same for artists and makeup artists, a basic colour wheel : ) If a colour is opposite on the colour wheel, it will contrast strongly with that colour and make it stand out brighter..

your Sable looks very different to mine... mine is more a red-pink-golden with a hint of brown but not like yours. Mine seems much lighter. Do you know if they changed it? ( theres absolutely no risk of mine being fake, a bought it at mac, so thats not it :)
@AuraDeLaCruz No, I'm sure there's nothing wrong with yours. Sable is a reddish-pinkish brown with gold shimmer, as I said, I think my lighting was just not the best for this video. Sorry about that, it's hard to film because when you get home after work in the UK, it's dark. I'm sure your Sable is fine : )

Im pretty much as pale as you are, blonde and with green/brown eyes ( weird combination huh?) I really like Sable, i use it all the time. My other favorites are- club, greensmoke, patina and fig1. Getting some new ones this week though so that might change :)

I nearly had a coniption when you said that Matte2 shadows were going out. My favourite eyeshadow of all time (Blanc Type) is a Matte2! This is not okay with me. I'm going to calculate how many backups I'll need to stock me up for life.
Also, I would love to see a tutorial using Humid. I'm a neutral gal myself, but I swatched Humid over the summer and fell in love with the pigmentation and colour. I didn't buy it, though, because I've no idea at all how to pull it off.

@glamqueen100 I've never heard of a dupe for Patina, but there are Woodwinked dupes, Urban Decay has a lot of similar ones (YDK, Half Baked are similar), a great WetnWild dupe for Woodwinked is from their Comfort Zone palette, thirdd down on the left : )

@glamqueen100 Hi there : ) Patina is much lighter than Satin Taupe, its a light beige with olive-gold-pink. ST is darker, more of a brown-grey-sliver-plum. Patina's very easy to wear, that's one of the best things about it, and good pigmentation. I think either Sable or Grand Entrance would be my favourite.
@wefadetogray Thanks! I think you need to stick to neutral browns. Neutral is a word that gets misused a lot. Neutral means neither warm nor cool. It your face looks red and blotchy, it's a good idea to try either neutral or cool browns. Colours with warm tones can emphasise redness, go for browns without red, bronze, orange tones. Mac Mulch is a perfect brown to start with, also Mac Mystery (a matte dark neutral brown), Mac Omega & Nars Ashes To Ashes (both neutral to cool light browns)

I love your e/s list even though for me (hazel-eyed) Satin Taupe is a must have which easily makes it in the top 3 MAC shadows to own.
The last pigment you showed is too gorgeous for words and along with the LE shadows (well, all but Tissueweight) is what I miss. What would you compare Lithe to? It looks similar to the Naked pigment but I could be wrong.

You don't really need Mac with so many great alternatives out there, when i was a girl, there just wasn't the variety or dupes <3

I love your e/s list even though for me (hazel-eyed) Satin Taupe is a must have which easily makes it in the top 3 MAC shadows to own.
The last pigment you showed is too gorgeous for words and along with the LE shadows (well, all but Tissueweight) is what I miss. What would you compare Lithe to? It looks similar to the Naked pigment but I could be wrong.

Beautiful picks. I have & love Woodwinked too & I can see why it is fabulous for a green-eyed girl. On me, it reads orange, but I am ok with that. So happy Tanzania works for you, on me it would have been too warm. You look fabulous, as usual. Gonna try & get that glowy look today while I run around doing pre-Turkey day stuff, then a h/c this afternoon. Aaaaaah.... (love you) Xo

Love your lips in this video Daisy! Could you possibly show the jacket (is that a jacket?) you're wearing here either by linking to it or showing it in another video? It looks fab! I still don't have any MAC eyeshadow *coughs* I feel like I should somehow but I own so many already. I bought an Inglot palette today I'm sure there are some dupes in there. Woodwinked looks absolutely amazing wow. I have blue eyes and I'm a sucker for bronze shades! Thanks for sharing Daisy :)

@RubyWooScarlett That's very kind of you, thanks for the support. I showed it in an OOTD awhile back (one of my few as they go down like a fart in an elevator). It's vintage. You don't really need Mac with so many great alternatives out there, when i was a girl, there just wasn't the variety or dupes <3

Oh Daisy, you just made my day with this video. I always feel so overwhelmed when I go to Mac... Too many people, can't swatch everything... so this is so helpful for me. My cart is slowly filling up haha. I got Haux a few weeks ago and love it, I find that it really makes the green in my eyes stand out

Hi, I really like your videos and don't want to say anything negative, but I couldn't stop myself this time.. I've got most of the eyeshadows you talked about, and on your video (shown or swatched) they look nothing like in a real life.. Maybe you should consider investing in good camera.. just a sugestion x x
