  • That little kid's voice and giggle along with the adult narrator make these videos sound creepy.

  • This has to be the most pointless video.

  • okay that was lame. The pundit made Mccain seem to have a heart and unable to trot out whatever drivel his handlers had prepared. Therefore by this video implying that Mccain lied to his staff, or by you using the word whistleblower - you are insincere and willfully misleading. I will be sure not watch anymore of your videos.

  • I think the most detrimental thing to Mccain's Campaign were neither. The most detrimental thing to his campaign were Bush and Palin.

  • I believe Faux News did try to twist things to make it look like McCain was lying to his campaign staff.

  • Let's just look at what the reality is. Politics is a beauty contest. Even if McCain did what he told his campain staff he'd do, he still would have lost. America will always vote for a man in his 40's over a man in his 70's.

  • John McCain can't be John McCain.

He's flip flopped so often, he can't even remember what his last position was.

    He's borderline senile.

And now people are reporting on his criticism of Obama for not interfering with Iran's election.

Put this tired, brain dead old putz out to pasture, he's done.

  • Option 3: Sarah Palin. ;)

  • Macain senior chaired the uss Liberty inquiry whitewash see what his buddies say about him when he was a prisoner in N vietnam same time a real true american who loves his country n he stands for what's right is outcasted by the media they usa under so much control now i fear its too late yet have Ron Paul as president n see america's standing in the world climing in leaps but maybe not they murdered JFK n A Lincon they wont stop now first take over america then the world its happening NOW guys

  • this guy's voice makes me sick

  • Bill OReilly from FOXnews said a 11 yrold kidnapvictim looked like he was 'having fun'

being anally raped for 4 1/2 yrs by his 6'5 300 lb kidnapper/rapist.Hannity &the other liars at FOX reported on the FAKE

McCainsupporter abused by the 'scary big black guy'-14-FOURTEEN times w/ only a 3 minute 1 time recant the next day.

ANYONE getting their news here is seriously deranged. Hannity should be fired for yellowjournalism but that would infer he's a journalist.

Shame on ALL the liars at FOX!

  • I don't doubt you.

    Please give me a link.

  • Look up Bill O'Reilly and Shawn Hornbeck. It's the video where Bill himself is speaking to Greta Van Sustern about the kidnapping etc. He repeatedly slams the poor boy over and over again.

  • mccain was supposed to do the hate speech stuff! thats whats they are talking about he didnt wanna say! Nobody should act like they dont know whats going on here!

  • mmmm Palin?

  • Definitely McCain's fault. His handlers showed major ineptitude but if he were worth being elected over Obama he would have overcome it. Besides he decides what his platform is, does he not?

  • I will say that you do good research on FOX News and their twists of the facts, But i will also say that I think you may have twisted the idea here. He may have been prepped, but who decided what he would say. They never said that it was his idea to say these things.

Maybe he just couldn't go through with saying these things he was told to.

I wonder if because he was becoming rouge in a sense, FOX may have turned on his campaign to put distance between them and McCain to cover their ass later

  • I'm confused! I guess once I get over 40 or maybe even 30 I'll understand all this bull shit and politics.

  • McCain is responsible. Even if his staff messes up, it is still McCain's responsibility. Its like if a football player is out of control on the field. Eventually, the coach will take the heat for not controlling his team.

  • Its just that John Mccain has one of those...what'ya call'em........souls, ya, thats it.

Hes not a terrible guy, as far as republicans go, I wouldn't be horribly enraged with him as President. Ron Paul isn't too bad either, although I disagree on a few fundamental issues, he's very progressive on a few other big ones.

Bud I digress; If Mccain hadn't picked Palin (shudder), it wouldn't have been awful. Obama is much better, but if we had Mccain instead of Bush, well, things would be much better.

  • I concur. I think McCain would have been really good for the country eight years ago. This election, the GOP would not stop attacking Obama's so called lack of experience. They shot themselves in the foot, therefore, by taking Palin as a running mate. At McCain's age, Palin as president is a very real issue, and I certainly do not believe in her ability as a national leader.

  • I was very insulted by this video as a Republican for 41!! Now I'm a Democrat, So I don't feel bad..... I'm on the winning team!! Yes, finally I can start hanging out with Hispanics again.....

  • .... what?

  • Lets stop the finger pointing, they are all idiots.

  • hi i tjust think foxnews is so far to right slant every thing just crazy can not so serious more like a comedy show i think fr johnnyb.

  • in regards to my previous post, it remind's me of, "STOP THE WAR, IT KILLS INNOCENT PEOPLE...(who are actually terrorists who kill american's) but let's keep killing innocent babies."

  • Oh cmon you have ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, BBC, Reuters, the AP, and NPR... let us have one network.

On your question, John McCain is to blame for his campaign because he's the captain of the ship. The buck always stops there. If he was supposed to say certain things and he decided not to, that's his call. I'm not sure how you consider that lying to his own campaign. If you say you're going to do one thing and do another there are plenty of words for that but lying isn't one of them.

  • It seems to me like his campain wanted to him be the typical rightwing bigot but McCain wasn't willing to do it. This party really needs to be cleaned up of those fools.

  • liberalviewer this is what i think, (initial thoought), PS. IM a conservative

I think that since we elected a moderate as our candidate we have a lot of dissenting opinion in the McCain Campaign. The McCain campaign is saying what they want him to say, and not what john mccain actually is saying or believes.

  • I saw his concession speech...and thought wow, why didn't his speeches sounds like that during the campaign? He was clear, concise and sounded confident.

  • tip for u make the backround something different than red it hurts eyes

  • from a conservative it was for sure john mccains fault didnt matter i only supported him beacuse i just hated him a little less than obama( i was leaning bob barr for some time)

  • I love youtube

  • I think that last question is forgetting a factor (actually 2 factors). Obama and his Campaign could have just been better, and sent a better message that lead to the failure of McCains campaign (assuming failure means he didn't become president). Some1 had to loose. So they did their best and lost. And what about the horrible Presidency of the Bush Administration? Don't you think that might have played a roll in McCain leading an already sour campaign?

  • You are an idiot!

  • John McCain still hasn't been able to explain why he put Britney Spears and Paris Hilton in his -campaign- commercials.

The McCain campaign was bizarre from start to finish.

  • "Don't anyone make a move or the nigga gets it!"

    - "Do what he say! do what He say!"

Mel Brooks = political genius ...Who knew?

  • YOU AND YOUR MOM I GUESS.

  • LOOK PEOPLE;

The context to view this from; is that the Neo-Cons got EXACTLY who they really wanted in the White House after the blatant Treason and subversion of the U.S. CONSTITUTION of the last 8 yrs.

This is BLAZING SADDLES! in America the corrupt Politicians just appointed a new black Sheriff that is going to carry out ALL of the NEW WORLD ORDER goals gun grabbing , stifling Free speech etc. and if you object YOU'RE A RACIST! ...

  • I object to your rational, Obama is only looking for gun control not banning all of them. The only reason you need a handgun is to protect yourself from someone else who has a handgun. Nothing wrong with trying to make our streets safer. Too many idiots out there with them. How about we start by only allowing guns to people who can spell gun? That would eliminate half the south and most of Idaho. Obama has no lobbiests to appease... that isn't new world order, that is a responsible olitition.

  • Quote, "How about we start by only allowing guns to people who can spell gun? That would eliminate half the south and most of Idaho."

    hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • EPIC WIN THUMBS UP !

  • BEAUTIFULLY PUT

  • Everything that Bill Kristol says is almost always a lie.

  • McCain is not lying to his own campaign, this is just a small stretch from whats happening. He is preped one way and speaks another simply because he is a glass with too much milk poured into it, stuff is bound to spill out.

Second, it is no only the fault of McCain (especially in the Palin pick) but also the fault of the Neo-Conservative movements massive failure and hippocracy while in power.

  • I honestly think though, that they prepped him to attack obama in a manner that McCain probably judged uncivilized or not according to his own principles. While many neo-cons and fox news hated obama. Letting mccain be himself was too much of a nice guy to their taste. So indeed, the neo-cons failed there.

  • plus the fact that he was naturally a moderate instead of a far right wing politician. He sold his soul to the GOP, though, and he paid the price.

  • I am so glad Obama won. As a canadian, it makes me so much more comfortable knowing that the American people can recognize when serious change is needed. I truly hope he is able to restore the relationships which have been lost/damaged under the Bush Admin.

  • I'm tired of listen to someone talk McCain better and Obama bad .. just tired about political thing thanks!! .. hope this over soon

  • oh my gosh i wish this stupid election would just go away b/c obama is starting to get annoying !!!!!!!!!!

  • McCain has a reputation for being a 'maverick' which also means a lone dissenter or a non-conformist. I believe his staff are frustrated that he not play by the rules, and he doesn't do what they say. Personally I think this bodes very bad for our country. We've already had one dictator- we don't need another.

  • I agree ..

  • The same can be said about McCain and his supporters. Propaganda is a mainstay of all elections, like it or not (personally, I hate it. on both sides). That said, YouTube, along with most other places where the common user is one that advocates such things as "freedom of expression and speech", would clearly clearly have a liberal bias considering "liberals" tend to enjoy such freedoms and aggressively advocate them. Of course I don't meant to imply conservatives hate such freedoms though :P

  • I'm voting for Obama But...

I believe McCain is a good guy... I just think he got so carried away with his campaign that he would do and say anything to be President. In the long run his negative attacks have just backfired on him.

  • Obama spends more money on his campaign than McCain does. And he has decided to spend a lot more money if he becomes president. I'm not for McCain, but it's the sad truth.

  • It's amazing to me that McCain and his campaign staff continued to think this was effective despite so much criticism against them for being so negative. I'm glad they kept it up because I knew it would be their down fall in the end.

  • McCain probably doesn't approve of a lot of what happens within the Republican realm. He probably, as a man, disapproves of their politics. Not their policies, mind you. Their POLITICS. I know a lot of those Republican insiders pressure him to do/say things that he'd rather not... and, as a result, America misses out on the REAL John McCain... who, to me, looks to be an honorable and respectable man.

  • the choice is crystal clear this year folks and the only people who are having a problem making a decision are the un-educated and the religious. which is really just the un- educated..obama

  • I believe McCain is his worst enemy for hiring and or appointing his campaign staff, especially his vp pick Palin who is surrounded with too much contreversy and abuses that has been brought to light. McCain should be looked upon as a true American hero for his scars and pain he endured for our country, but politically he has been blasted out of the water with this dirty, lying and race baiting campaign that he has ran.

  • if your thoughts are on america, and what or where we stand in our world then does it really matter who the president is? He makes no global moves he is the face of america not the brain or the hands, just an opinion, no offense.

  • Wouldn't surprise me. McCain is known as an honorable man, which is why everyone is so shocked by some of the mud his campaign has been slinging lately. They probably do prep him with more slime to peddle, he says he'll do it and than for whatever reason doesn't when he's out there.

  • D fen nut lee McCain!

  • Lies, sure. Intentional or not, hard to say. I think senility and/or illness may be affecting his ability to retain the advice of his staffers even for such important events as presidential debates (his performance during all three being laughable, pitiable, and irritating.)

  • McCain is blathering and stumbling; that's not improv. I once respected him, but now I'm embarrased for him. His 'maverick' days are long gone. He used to be a statesman, now he's flipped on his own core beliefs. He's just an impulsive flailing old man with word choice difficulties, a whack job, like his VP nominee. I can't wait until Wednesday am and we're spared his idiocy forever. And I hope Obama takes Arizona too.

  • Republican SHOCKER:

"Newt: PALIN NOT READY!! Shocker!! Caught On VIDEO! GeorgeW: "This Was Avoidable" !!!"

    watch?v=luwqRA0GWGc

  • You idiot, Mcain is improv.. he doesnt follow "his staff", he doesnt need written speeches like Obama, I hope Obama losses BADLY

  • McCain improvs so well that he says at one of his rallies, "My fellow prisoners" Great job! McCain's a douchebag and he continues to show it.

    OBAMA/BIDEN'08

  • I laughed. : )

  • I think you have to wait till the election results then you can determine it.

  • Maybe it's just the fact that they're getting their asses handed to them by the Obama staff.

  • AlL OF THEM!! 1st of all, McCain's staff has no ideas 2nd of all McCain himself can't come up with anything legitimate to persuade American's vote.

i will feel very scammed if mccain wins the election

  • The Republicans are pathetic....

I can't wait to watch the circular firing squad take aim after the election.

They will eat their own dead.... with sliced tomato and mayo

  • who's responsible for the failure of john mccain's campaign...neither of those....Sarah Palin!

    And the Scourge of America.

    And everyone knows it.

I hope you are tried for treason...

    YOU ARE DIRT AND SCUM

  • you're an idiot... you state that fox news is bias... what r u? why am I watching you? Also... look at CNN... if you don't agree that they favor obama you're crazy...

the day biden came out and talked about national chaos if obama became president cnn decided to talk about how sarah palin spend a bunch of money on clothes...

stick to the issues guy.... you're a flaming bias liberal... barrack obama has NO EXPERIENCE and he will definitely drive this country into the ground....

    the end..u=tool

  • Ummm.... Fox news is baised. Just as MSNBC is biased. His name on Youtube is Liberalviewer, if you were expecting something that wasnt slanted your handicaped. Now go vote for your loser and I hope you feel like an idiot when Obama wins ny 10 points in all the "battle ground states"

  • Im sorry man but I thing America all ready have a massive problems, and is Bush is maken America go to the ground.

But style don,t like Obama or Mc.cain.

  • wow i really like you first peragraph, very poignant..no so much. a sane individual cannot liken fox to cnn,,,as conservative bias vs liberal bias, fox is just loud and obnoxious,,,oriely hannity et al. they are commentators not journalists, providing their opinions, and then theres cnn which actually takes journalism seriously. maybe you view truth as bias, i donno.and mccain, he's just a frail angry senior that should have quit politics years ago. mccain has no executive exp, palin is a joke

  • It seems to me that he doesn't agree with what the staff want him to do. And really, that's both their faults. He needs to speak up when he doesn't agree with their tactics, and they need to lay off when it doesn't fit.

  • I feel so stupid. I was taking all the political bull shit FOX babels seriously. Now that I realize FOX News is a comedy show I can relax and laugh and laugh and laugh ;-)))

  • We need leaders that are smarter than us, damn it!!

Palin will be as horrible as the current failed President. McCain will die from his face cancer in the next year, but he didn't have the judgement to choose a VP who was ready to lead? Why not Tom Ridge? Or Christine Todd Whitman if he needed the angry Hillary vote? Palin is a disaster waiting to happen. Just as sure as Bush proved to be.

    Vote with your secular BRAINS!

    Vote Obama/Biden 2008!!!

  • as usual, you put out some very interesting stuff. liberalviewer, your fucking awesome!!!

  • McCain is a old fool

  • I think it shows more than anything that McCain and his staff have no clue what they're doing as far as running a campaign, seems like someone is filling in the blanks by assuming he was lying though. Didn't hear anyone say that.

  • Lying? Yes, but not as dramatically as it seems. He may just not completely agree with their tactics or wants appear as if he has their complete support. As noted in the video; McCain should fire his campaign staff or they should stop endorsing him if they are not on the same page. If he is not in sync with his staff now; what is going to happen if the same situation presents itself in the White House?

  • I don't think that they are truly racist but they do know in this situation that race steering can prove to be a winning tactic.

What if McCain bites the dust??? He is old. Then Palin would be president. I am going to have nightmares!!!!!

  • i think if you call it lying youre being just like the repulicans and distorting things. hes not lying to them, it seems he's just practiced certain lines for the debates/speeches and decided the crowd didn't feel right. or, probably more accurately, he probably couldnt bring himself to say whatever it was they were trying to get him to attack obama on at the debates, im assuming about reverend wright.

  • With the "Hot Pattie" tramp Palin????????.

  • shit like this happens all over other net works this was 2 diffrent shotws with 2 diffrent peoples opions shut the fuck up

  • thats some one elses opion fuck...

  • Hi Allen

    Yes ans the McCane Staff.

  • liar liar depends on fire.

can this man tell the truth ever? ive been reading that his whole vietnam story might not be the 100% truth either. if only he would release the files to clear everythign up

  • hahahhhaha good one!! totally insane right? his whole campaign is built around those 5 1/2 years. search 'gary chafetz' if youre down to learn more about it

  • i cant believe this.. mccains whole nam story a farse!? if what that gary chafetz guy was saying is true alot of people need to rethink their vote

  • I agree. The Republicans are used to being mediocre and still winning.

McCain followed "W" to political oblivion over the last 8 years.

  • Yes, they are pathetic but also racist and extremely mean spirited. It's turned OFF alot of people. He should've focused on the issues and what he is going to do not personal attack after personal attack on his opponent. They are pathetic and it shows. Obama for President

  • Vote Ron Paul!

  • If McCain can't even control or organize his own campaign...wth does he he think he is qualified to run the country?

  • Just bcz of FOX NEWS iam going to VOTE FOR OBAMA..........

  • But don't integrity and leadership by definition demand that McCain (if he posesses those qualities) step out in front of his party and direct the course of his campaign to present something coherent?

I have always thought better of McCain and found him to be disasterously behind the ball. Of course, the real tension arises because the true moderate McCain hasn't reconciled with the ultraconservative McCain his party expects and nominated.

  • Obama/Biden just makes way more sense...

  • It is a hateful and racist campaign -- as well as a pathetic one.

  • I don't think that is something McCain advocates, but he has certainly done lousy job of shutting down the nutcase element of his party, or of developing a campaign strategy with emphasis on diversity. Republicans will wrestle with this to their detriment as long as they rely on tactics like fear-baiting to rouse their base.

  • McCain is certainly going along with it. And Palin is actively engaging in the race baiting

  • Two pundits running, which is the most honest? Neither, they both play into a Federal Reserve swindle of the American tax payer, the only true honest politicians we have, are the ones who voted against bail out bill twice against a Wall Street. Check them out, Republican: Ron Paul, Democrat: Dennis Kucinich were two that come at the top of my head, there were others as well do the research...

  • The GOP will consume themselves. I am just glad I will live to see them disolve into history with the assholes Bush and Cheney. History will not treat any of them well.

It is McCains fault period his ticket it ultimately falls on his head at the end of the day. if he is stupid enough to not fix it and SHOW US THE REAL MCCAIN- I can assume we are looking at the REAL McCain then.

No Thanks... Palin didn't help his cause either. Great Choice-THANK MCBUSH!!!!

    lol

  • 1. are you the guy that does 'frontline'? "twinkies: golden and delicious, but inside, a white tube of cancerous toxins..."

    2. john mccain has a lot of whiny idiots telling him what to do. he nods, listening, and they consider it a 'commitment'. then he goes and does what he wants to. . . (ok not always)

  • Anyone who watches Fox news more than three times is stupid(I beleive in giving everyone three chances). Anyone who beleives anything Fox news reports is a RETARD.

  • I agree and the same goes to the NY times and pretty much all main stream media these days with a few exceptions. No matter left wing or right wing bias it is very hard to find unobjective news sources these days. It is not just a right wing issue.

  • I am not familiar with how the NY Times reports its stories but if it is anything like Fox news then it would be such a shame. It has such a respected brand that it does not need to report its news like that. But I still think people are partly to blame for not researching and beleiving everything that is said. The media is particularly bad in the US. Although Europe is less biased in their reports, they never report everything.

  • this pundit is saying that McCain's advisors were telling him to probably same some crazy shit like Obama is a Muslim terrorist. And since McCain is a decent man he doesnt do it

  • Americans always say that they will feel safe only if McCain wins. Ask those 3.000 people that died at the World Trade Center in NYC if they were safe! If you can!

  • You dumb-dumb, give me 40 billion dollars a month and I can make America 100x safer!!! If we're safer now, why the security at airports and other places are so tight? Have you been to the airports lately? It's all the hassels we have to go through, and has nothing to do with invading Iraq. In fact, invading Iraq causes more anger, more people to hate America, and therefore making us unsafe. A peaceful world is a safer world.

  • Fox News is the best source for news. Sure, they may slant to the right, but NBC & MSNBC lean left so much they are more like two Obama cheerleader networks. (Keith Olberman, Jeez.) Fox always provides both sides of an issue.

  • IF you think fox news is the best source for news, you got issues.Lets start from the fact that no american cable news provider is the best source for any kind of news period. If you want the most unbiast (grant it, that any news network will have some degree of bias) try BBC or any of the canadian news networks, and programs like the 5th estate, cbs. They actually report news, and dont put gigantic spin on things.Or even better, read multiple independent internet columunists.

  • Fox is not news. News means report. Fox interview conservatives and republicans to their show. Fox means ATTACK. Fox supports American soldiers to die for a war that is not has nothing to do with us. WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION was not found. Actually, their case for the war is the WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION: Americans soldiers died, and we spend 40 billion dollars a year when American economy is dying.

  • No I think it's McCain backing down. He should say 'that' not me. I'm not doing that,' but he doesn't have the resolve. He's not a leader, I'm sorry to say.

  • everytime i see bill kristol's face, i just want to punch it.

bill kristol is NOT a conservative... he's a neo-con. fuck him.

  • "A fish out of water will fight the most right before it dies"

All activists here need to make sure the support for OBAMA does not fade just because he's ahead in the polls, now is the time to push harder and make sure McSame does not get a second wind.

    OBAMA/BIDEN 08

  • I just want the Republican party to heed Colin Powell's advice and reform themselves. We need a functioning two party system. Powell should step in and bring the party to one of SUBSTANCE. Imagine. The Republican party focusing on substance. It would be a dream. 2012 Obama v. Powell?

  • As a democrat, I'd have to say that would be a pretty awesome election to watch, Powell v. Obama. I think that Powell is a pretty good man, and it would be difficult for Obama to fight against him. Good scenario!

  • Why is John McCain mired in the Sixties? Shouldn't he be mired in the Seventies by now?

Thirty years out of date is okay, but forty is stretching it.

  • Maybe the reason McCain had trouble gathering the courage to attack Obama in the debates was that there WAS NOTHING to attack Obama FOR.

Everyone knows that Obama was a community organizer working to eliminate poverty in the South Side of Chicago, and a civil rights lawyer, and senior lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School.

He just DIDN'T HAVE TIME to build a time machine and transport himself back to the Sixties in order to protest with Bill Ayers against the Viet Nam War.

  • I DELETED the Fox channel. It keeps self-proclaiming to be patriotic when it's anything but. I'd love to see O'reilly or Colm or Palin in the frontline in Iraq. This will shut their mouths. Being patriotic has nothing to do with opposing the war or critizing our dumbest president in the history of mankind.

  • And NOBama has been on the front line?

  • You dumbass, Obama opposed the war. It's you and, oreilly, and others who support the war should be in the frontline. Obama, me, and others like us support Americans to do the right thing--fighting the right war. That is, finding Bin Ladin. We protest the Iraq war in the names of our soldier lives; if necessary, they should die for the country in the name of righteousness, not invading Iraq.

  • Don't bother to watch FOX. It is all Republican and stinks. Fox lies about Obama and Biden. McCain is a 72 year old elderly man who gets very easily confused just like any elderly man of that age. Fox would have you believe he is a maverick and all kinds of silly things that he is not. McCain is a liah who has swings one way then the other. Abortion is one of those issues he has been for then against. He is not a conservative anymore than that jackass O'Rielly is.

  • Obama was against offshore drilling, but now he's for it. Sounds like he swings one way and then the other too.

Not all elderly people get confused.

"Liah" is spelled liar, which McCain is not.

  • Have you forgotten that Mccain has been against increased offshore drilling as well? Perhaps you are confused.

  • Another nail

  • Working with a production company and a talent I can say that I would not go so far as to say he is lying. Sometimes when things are said behind doors it sounds good, but when you are up there in front of everyone, the mood changes ideas, and something that would have worked in theory, no longer works in practice.

  • both . mccian is to deep into shit way before the campin in that matter they cant come clear to their voters .1 of the reasons he voted 90% times pro "mr.danger"(bush) who every 1 wans that guy out

  • Both, in almost equal proportions.

  • It didn't sound to me like there was an accusation of lieing - but lack of follow through.

I assume that when they say he was "prepped", that probably means to attack Obama on Ayre's, as that's been their major campaign focus for the last 3 weeks. McCain has been very reluctant to pursue that face to face with Obama.

IMHO, the problem with the McCain campaign is that he has too many advisor and he's listening to them too much. That's whats causing this flailing about.

  • i think a problem that McCain is having is that he is a republican but many of his supports are not. his rallies are attended by neocons, libertarians, and neo-nazis. I am a democratic socialist, but i'm voting for a democrat and i understand that the democrats don't represent me completely. the neocons and alike are trying to change McCain into someone they would like to be president. the neocons should elect their own candidate.

  • That's so funny because just the other day my Dad was saying, "[You should watch Fox News, they know what they're talking about]" in hopes that he'd get me to become pro McCain.

    Niiiice.

  • The problem with McCain's campaign is that McCain is a decent man running as a republican. His campaign is run by scumbags that will do anything to win and McCain will only go so far to win. After watching this i kinda feel sorry for him.

  • decent...lol. he's anything but decent. research on him more.

  • ~ Common Misconceptions of Fox Viewers:

1)The higher someone's income, the harder they work.

2)Poor people have achieved their economic status through laziness.

3)Taxing corporate profits leads to less jobs, lower wages, higher costs for goods and services.

4)Talk Radio, television, and pundits are educational.

    5)Social programs are evil.

Did you know the average American who falls in the $38,000 to $66,000 bracket will pay $1,290 less in taxes under Obama, versus $319 less under McCain?

  • I don't think you can use the term 'lie' for what McCain did. I think his commitment to his staff was made honestly, if begrudgingly. I also think that when push came to shove, McCain waivered in his commitment because he knew how damaging it would be to make a charge in front of a national audience that had already been researched and disproved.

  • Thats certainly not what I heard

  • Some lie to their own selves.....

This is how bad things can be in humans

Try not to be one of those who lie to them selves

  • Love your vids and watch a lot, but why jump to the worst and most extreme assumption? You make a great point - yes, they have given away inside information about McCain's campaign. But it could simply be that McCain is undisciplined and unable to deliver what he is prepped and rehearsed for. Maybe he has a poor memory. Maybe his nerves in a big event rattle him. Maybe he's too old. It doesn't make him any better as a canididate - but to jump to a conclusion that he's lied is one step too far.

  • John McCain is responsible because he threw away his honor and integrity when he selected Palin because of Dobson, Reed, and others. This total pandering of extreme right has correctly 'turned off' good moderate Republicans.I believe that McCain would do ANYTHING to be elected and this shows in every interview with his changing positions, tactics, and outright lying. Palin will be what history says was his initial undoing and I am afraid it will not be kind. She will be a 1 term gov then gone.

  • Although FOX free speech is currently protected under our Constitution, and although I agree that integrity should be the base of valid news, FOX has historically brain-washed, bashed, media-tortured and mainlined fear feeds as a dietary staple to their splintering base. Now they object to their prototype news juice? FOX is not NEWS. So pathetic to hear these FOX news-twisters whine.

  • I feel horrible for McCain. I loved him in 2000 and when I heard he was running this year I was happy too (at the time I didn't really know much about the current campaign), until all of these dirty tricks and words that just are not McCain.

Obama has a lot of question marks that worry me, so McCain COULD have won my vote were it not for lack of leadership

So to answer the broad question, the negative campaign is the staff's fault, but McCain showed no leadership by supporting the efforts.

  • cbrhawk1: "the negative campaign is the staff's fault, but McCain showed no leadership by supporting the efforts."

McCain made an attempt to quiet down one or two people in one of the crowds. Only AFTER his polls were tanking, 10 points down.

But THAT's the Real McCain, pretty much always has been an opportunist. For "the rest of the story," google and read "Make-Believe Maverick".

The bigger worry for us should be his volatile temper. His erratic campaign is only one sign of this.

  • I HAVE heard that his campaign, and Palin, are trying to get him to "take the gloves off." My guess is that he's being pressured into saying he will, then can't pull it off while he's in public.

Again, HE'S the one who has to take charge of this, or take responsibility for his fractured campaign. It's a good test of his ability to lead.

  • If McCain can't lead his own campaign staff, or appoint competent people to do it, what makes us think he could competently run the country?

This has been a shambles from the beginning, especially after he named Palin. Never met her, now she's out and about braggin' about their Mavericky selves. It's clear she's a loose cannon who never will be reined in for a coherent campaign. What could ANYBODY have been thinking there?

The lack of good judgment boggles my mind.

  • mccain's campaign staff is there to help/advise john mccain for john mccain. if he decides not to take the advice of his staff, that's his prerogative. it's his campaign

  • LiberalViewer, you've made some pretty good arguments, but I think this one could be a little off. It's less and less of a secret now that Fox News doesn't like McCain very much. I think it's plausible to suggest that Fox News is doing whatever is in its power to take their frustation out on him. In this case, making him sound like a liar. I believe they're realizing that this election is all but lost, and they're going to take some parting shots at McCain. A true shame if I'm right.

  • 2nd Question: Leadership has responsiblities and consequences. It is his campaign. If it is the campaign's fault then by rote it is his fault anyways. So, in the end, it is McCain's fault by the dynamic you put forth. I also have to say it is events that are a bit out of his control right now, but those events could have been a boon to him if he had handled them right.

  • 1st question: No he doesn't lie to his campaign staff. I just think he gets up there and has not felt it was the right time to bring it up. It is either that or he gets up there and thinks, "I really do want to run a positive campaign."

Point in fact, throughout recent history, the canidate that has won the debates have not been the ones that win on points but the ones that make thier points while be cool and calm about it. I think McCain knew that and -tried- to act accordingly.

  • Bring Fox news down!

  • Mccain's Campaign has no dignity, but Mccain does. He shoulda never let those neocons take control.
