@bobluman4 Patton wanted to go to war with the soviets but everyone was tired of war. We could have easily defeated the soviets because we had a nuclear stockpile while the soviets didnt have any. A couple of nukes could have won everyting

@cws81454 yeah, they used at first only some stones and barbed wire that nobody kann leave the east sector. then after a few days they began to build the real wall who was sometimes over 1m thick and the watch towers and shooting machines and then they began to destroy all buildings on the border and all trees and plants to control the whole area around the wall
