The "Internationale" the anthem of the Soviet Union is a monstrosity that has been rewritten multiple times since ol' Uncle Joe Stalin died, then rewritten again by Boris and Vladimir. Well. I always stand up when I hear Russian national anthem. I know text by heart. It does not assosiate in my head with Stalin or Lenin, or communizm time. The words of our anthem are warm and full of love to our Fatherland. The last version of Russian anthem does not have political contex like it was in Soviet time. There is no words about love to party or government.
