Nothing against a mass entertainement, but after the Carnival, millions will return to their miserable lives, violence, poverty,deseases,lack of education. Few will be the ones that my progress in such environment. From a Brazilian that wanted something better to this people

So, from your point of view, we have to abandon our cultural traditions, such as Carnival, because they cannot solve all the problems of the country?
Nonsense. In other words, you are basicly saying that only rich and developed nations are allowed to celebrate their traditions. And besides, Carnival is NOT only about revelry: political satire and social criticism are often essencial parts of the parades in Rio.

@dsbaptista I agree with you!! We are not McDonnalds, Mickey Mouse society...lets put things in perspective and not be radical both sides...Both countries have their cultures...and carnival is one of Brazil´s!

Here in England I dont have good 365 days . Maybe you are watching to mutch TV and thinking that the first world country everyone live happy , poor people in Brazil lives mutch happy than people here in England and others rich country . No make sense what you say.
