oh and also iw as told by someone to try and stay in the lower mid section of the frog(bow) when first starting out because it gives you more control until you get use to bowing. uuhh for me bow harder im lefty and i play a right handed violin for now at least. I'm gonna learn both ways eventually. Good luck

good luck with your playing! i can imagine how difficult it must be to bow with your non-dominant hand... as it is, i'm a righty and it's darn difficult to control the thing. how long have you been learning the violin? please do upload a vid of yourself too! :)

your not pressing hard enough with your bow press harder and you'll get a better sound 8)
