Why did you make one eye blue and the other black?

Also, the original art has thick rough lines and a rough texture. Any tips how to do that? :0)

Both Eyes are the same color, you can't see it clearly because of the poor video size. There's a gradient from blue to black from the top of the Eyes. To give it more perspective, I used a single gradient for both Eyes, that's why one seems to be black while the other one looks blue.

Original Style (Miyamoto's) is rough, I Know. You can do this by adding a texture to your brush. I'll make a tutorial on Brushes some time in the near future, when I have some spare time. Thanks for watching

Nicely done WIP! What was with the marquee around 5:04? (I'm assuming that you're making selections to color it in, but I just want a confirmation)

In fact, that's it, to make it look ''cell shaded'' i just create selections and start coloring the shading, anyways in the finished work I threw away that style and went on freehand coloring. I'll send you a PM. Thanks for watching.

when you use the pen tool how do you get it so thick and keep it there because every time i save it just disappears

I guess you found the answer in my other tutorial, however, if you didn't, i just DON'T keep my traces with pen tool, I just right click it and press ''stroke path'' and then just delete the path.

Well, there are cheaper and even free alternatives... try googling (vector, open canvas, manga studio, artrage, or even microsoft expression (studio, or design)....) you'll find some great programs

How much did your tablet cost? I can find them anywhere from $98 - $400 dollars, do you know of any great deals?

I've got an old Graphire 3 i bought in the US 3 years ago, for $100. I'm looking for an intuos, but they're faaaaar too expensive.. about $450 for the A4 model. The A5 (small...) one is about $300.

An A3 (Biig...) costs about $600, and well, we won't talk about the Cintiq, will we? :)
